"Good hotel with good staff"
Easy to find location and a clean and tidy hotel environment. Very friendly and efficient welcome. The room was good, clean and well kept. While we only stayed for 3 nights more hangers should be provided. Unfortunately I suffer from occasional back pain and the dining chair provided in the room was very uncomfortable. However a member of the front desk team, Kieran, very kindly went the extra mile and found a bucket chair for me which helped me to better enjoy my stay.

"Disappointing"
The good points of this self catering flat were that it was very clean and well equipped. The lounge was bright and spacious and we always found space to park on Oldway Road. Unfortunately the negatives outweighed the positives for us. It is within walking distance of the sea, but the beach area looks like a building site. The description of "quiet residential area" was incorrect. The Oldway Road seems to be used as a rat run and has apparently had a one way system with a traffic light for years due to ongoing repair work at Oldway Mansion. This meant constant traffic which stopped at the lights in front of the house, sometimes with music blaring day and night. Dogs were often heard barking. You have to get to the garden through the garage and the kitchen overlooks the yard of the flat below. The kitchen is very small, with hardly any worktop space. Although the bed in the main bedroom (which overlooks the road) was comfortable, the wooden bed in the small second bedroom wasn't and creaked with every movement, as well as having hardly any space to walk round.

"Great stay"
The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable with a low bath for my disabled husband. The only problem we encountered was a few disabled parking spaces were taken by drivers that were not displaying a blue badge because as we were told it’s convenient parking very close to the restaurant and hotel
