"Good hotel"
Still love this premier inn,it gets the brilliant reviews for it's position alone.
Rooms are really good, don't agree with having to ask for a cleaner, bins should be cleaned and beds made up daily.
Didn't see a cleaner in 3 days.
Breakfast was perfect, again short of staff in the dining rooms,Andrew was brilliant and so pleasant but shouldn't be doing the work of two people, although he did it with a smile and never complained.
Outside areas are in need of a good tidy and paint, looks very run down ,maybe due to the selling of the restaurants

"could do better!!"
great rooms all clean and neat, it was let down everywhere else, lack of presentation the building is extremely tired, lack of staff especially meal times, think new chef is required as all food had first night was cold, so ate snacks for the rest of our stay, and ate out when we could, plus breakfast options were very limited and due to lack of staff nothing was being topped up, so if you arrived later for breakfast there were not a lot of options left, and lack of staff to refill etc, we lived on toast the whole week. this could be a fab hotel if more was put into it. plus the majority of rooms are across the carpark, the building has not lift so be prepared to walk 7 flights of stairs with luggage, bags etc.

"Just for the view and location - Must stay!"
The location was the main reason for booking this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised that the rooms were larger than those in the Premier Inn hotels we usually stay at.
We were given a sea view room, and the view was amazing and completely worth it.
The beds were very comfortable, and as we were travelling with two kids, we had two additional small beds along with the king-size bed, which worked well for our stay.
There are also plenty of things to do nearby, including Young Park, water play areas, and of course the beach, which made it a great family-friendly location.
However, the receptionist at check-in wasn’t particularly warm or welcoming and didn’t greet us with a simple “good afternoon,” which left a slightly disappointing first impression.
Breakfast, as with other Premier Inn stays, was excellent. We were shown to our reserved table quickly with minimal waiting time. The dining area was a bit tight, but overall it was fine in terms of space to sit, eat, and move around comfortably.
One recurring issue, which we’ve also noticed in another Premier Inn, was with the TV setup. There was a small HDMI port provided at the bottom, but it didn’t seem connected properly, and we had to awkwardly reach behind the TV to connect our Chromecast.
The shower was fine overall, but there was no handheld shower attachment, which made it a bit inconvenient when bathing the kids.

"A pretty bad experience at Easter"
The whole hotel was grubby. We paid extra for a sea view room which was in the older part of the hotel, which seriously needs updating. We were exhausted when we arrived so atempted to sleep at around 10pm and were woken up by slamming doors. The restaurant attached, piped music through speakers until after 10.30pm and then woke us up at 7.55 played very loudly. There was a fire alarm at 8.20 which woke me up again. On checking out we talked to the receptionist who just gave us the card for a review. The good night's sleep promise policy was not mentioned. We have stayed an quite a variety of hotels and this is by far our worst experience. I would not recommend at all, in fact I would advise to avoid. There were no apologies or attempts to mske right.
