Paignton Seafront (Goodrington Sands) hotel

Really great place to stay no faults

love this hotel location. visit every year. could do face lift ,but 3 of us visited for 3 nights and we had breakfast and walked the coastal path. return to hotel and sat with a drink on the hotel front and relaxed in the sun. what changes are coming nobody seems to know, but if they lose the hotel bar and food during the day, it will be a big loss. Concourse and lawned areas make this hotel.

We recently stayed here for an overnight stop and would not choose to return. On arrival we found the staff to be unhelpful and at times rude. The room itself was small, with a small bed and only one bath towel provided for two guests. The hotel overall felt tired, grubby and not particularly clean in places. The WiFi was poor and soundproofing was almost non-existent. We were woken early by noise from kegs being dragged and bottles being emptied from around 7am, making it difficult to get any decent rest. The adjoining pub/restaurant was also disappointing; very expensive for the extremely poor quality food served and the general standard of cleanliness. Please note there is no lift which, whilst not an issue for us, may be problematic for other guests with luggage or mobility issues. Guests are also charged £7.50 for parking, which felt excessive given the overall standard of the stay. Overall, this Premier Inn did not meet the standards we would expect and we will therefore not stay here again.

Loved the Inn on the Quay. The location is brilliant and lives up to its name (the sea is wonderfully close), the food tasty, good and plentiful, and the staff really friendly and efficient. Plus, as someone on crutches, I *loved* that our accessible room had a lowered bath. It made *such* a difference to our/my stay just to able to use the room without any worries.
