"Not Good"
The room itself was fine .Very clean and tidy. Restuarant area leaves a lot to be desired..We understood from staff its being sold off and a new one being built within the hotel but it still should be kept clean and tidy. The carpet was absolutely filthy. Paint peeling off walls /ceiling in places. Looks gloomy in there. Outside bins were overflowing from saturday till sunday (when they were emptied. Bin for cigarettes overflowing too. Having said all this I must say the staff were very friendly. Felt sorry for lad in resturant sunday morning it was fairly busy and he had to do everything as he was by himself..Breakfast sunday was a bit off as half the dishes were empty with people having to wait for items.I thought Premier Inn kept them topped up?? As has been at other ones we,ve stayed at..Maybe larger serving dishes are required as they were very small..Maybe more staff are required in the restuarant. One chef and one doing everything else when busy is not enough.. I dont know if we,d stay here again unless resturant area was greatly improved..

"Great racecourse"
Good hotel and obviously perfect location for the racecourse and easy walk in to town after, and taxi back ;). Staff were good and rooms to standard as always. Will book to stay again and recommend. Plenty of parking but on site restaurant. ………

"Faulty Towers"
A premier inn only in name.
The staff were friendly and helpful, the location was convenient and the beds were clean and comfortable.
And now for the negative part. The hotel was truly filthy and urgently requires renovation and a deep clean. I presume the vacuum was defective and unable to pass within an inch of the skirting as there was a thick accumulation of dust along the carpet adjoining the skirting. If I was to met a fat builder from Swindon by the name of Dave and asked to sniff his bum crack, I am quite sure that the smell would have been similar to the smell encountered in room 103.
I appreciate that the restaurant is currently in a state of transition, but it was filthy and the menu was basic to say the least. We were forced to order chicken nuggets and chips in the absence of any adult food.
The nuggets arrived 15 minutes before the chips. Again, the staff were fantastic, but ever other aspect of the restaurant experience were truly awful.
It was one of those experiences that was so bad that it was quite funny. I wouldn't however ever return to the hotel and I would recommend that it is closed to make it fit for human habitation.

"No surprises, the usual Premier."
Visited with my adult son for a 6-day break in fine sunny weather. We opted to room-share because the prevailing rate was around £100 except for Sundays - expensive for a small room, no-frills, but you take it or leave it. One standard double-bed plus a made-up sofa bed. We booked late, so expected the high rate. "No frills" means only one chair and no portable fan as found in some Premiers. Hot and stuffy at times, but the aircon eventually responds.
Easy to find on Newton Road, Kingsteignton (postal address). Ample free parking, some of it undercover at ground level with the building above. A single lift takes you up to Reception and rooms on all floors. A mega large Tesco is opposite, over the main road - traffic lights for crossing on foot.
Location is good for touring Devon by car, but all but one of our outings were by bus or train. Bus Stops are close by. Bus service 2 was every 20 minutes, good for a ride to downtown or in the opposite direction to Teignmouth (journey 40 minutes) and Dawlish (for the South West Cost Path). You will want to go downtown or to Teignmouth because the hotel's restaurant (believed to be a Beefeater - an associated Whitbread company) - looked deserted or nearly empty whenever we walked past the separate building. However a full overflowing litter bin outside (not cleared daily, it seemed) was a clue to there having been some trade.
The ramped paths in front of the restaurant down to the road were half overgrown by shrubs, and there was a fallen light. I don't mind uncut lawn (good for nature) but in my experience the scruffiness of some Premier sites which I have visited is an issue for Whitbread managers to address.
Five-star rating in this Review because of weighting given to good location, easy free parking, ease of booking, satisfactory clean room (as it should be), reliable free wi-fi and the Premier team members. I don't normally mention names but hearty thanks to Lauren who reunited me with my precious high-speed Apple charger which I left behind, (a clue to your Reviewer's advancing age).

"Okay premier shocking restraunt"
the breakfast was shocking decided we would have it on our last day before we set off home we go in sit down about 9:30 we first go to get a drink and the only juice left was cranberry juice we then go to get breakfast there is only 2 sausages and a handful of beans then we’re like we will try the pastry side and come back in a minute we go there and there is no joke 2 muffins and a slice of bread we then sit down with nothing on our plates the chef then puts out hash browns and most of the people in the restraunt get up and queue up as soon as they see some food we then see a family of 5 come in they go up to get there fried breakfast and the mother was appalled obviously not be able to feed any of her family when she is paying £55 rightfully so she then goes up multiple times to complain first to the chef and then the member of outfront staff we then hear the guy working outfront saying premier inn have cut there budgets for the wages this was a bank holiday weekend and they only had 1 chef and 1 person outfront we then got up and left to complain at the reception there were a group of people outside talking among each other about how bad the breakfast was we then got to reception there were 3 other families complaining about the breakfast asking for a refund we then spoke to the lady at reception she said they couldn’t refund us because we had paid at the restraunt not the reception and it’s a different pay system she said she would come over with us to see what was going on she went upto the man outfront said we needed a refund she then said to him did u not even have bacon and the man said we have nothing we’re running out of everything we can’t keep up with it we will never go for breakfast at a premier inn again after this
