Honiton hotel

Copying from my feedback on premier Inns feedback channel. In the hope they see it. The male staff member on evening service on Saturday 19 September was a disgraceful representation of your company. Useless, rude, unhelpful - are three brief adjectives to describe what we witnessed. A burden to his colleagues. Younger female colleague was doing all she could to try and quell his behaviour and make sure guests were dealt with in a professional manner. The rude bullying of a younger female guest, at a volume that all could witness, was simply awful. After we had finished our 2-courses enough was enough and we simply stood up and left. We paid as the food was good, despite a brief mistake by the kitchen wich was quickly remedied. Even if it was handled appallingly by the unfortate server we had landed ourselves with. In short - A terrible experience of a company than in our experience have managed to hire pleasant staff previously.

We have stayed at many Premier Inns but this one exceeded our expectations. Staff were all helpful and friendly, there is a bar and a restaurant serving real food, tasty, freshly cooked and well presented. Room is clean and as comfortable as Premier Inn provide. Looking forwards to breakfast!

This was a surprise. It was excellent I am vegan and i was pleased about the vegan options at dinner and at breakfast. The manager oveseeing breakfast was amazing. He checked the crumpets for me to see if they were vegan.There was a choice of milks including oat milk and a lot of different cereals. We were served vegan bacon and vegan Sausages. I did not expect this. I am sure that non vegans were happy too. I also want to say i was given an excellent accessible room with a sit down shower and rails by the toilet I had an accident 3 years ago and i appreciated the accessibility. The bed was comfy I appreciated the room which had a sit down shower and rails by the toilet I am vegan and loved breakfast and dinner. Would always choose Premeir Inn. The rooms are first rate. Quality furnishings, and very spacious. Most important of all, is the comfort of the beds. You just sink into them, and you are ensured of z good night's sleep. Plenty of tea and coffee sachets available.

Hotel is ideally situated as a stop over on the way to Cornwall. Stayed there many a times and always had a good experience. My only gripe for this visit is they don’t have enough staff to cope with checking in and serving in the restaurant. When we arrived the self check in was not working and the two staff members were busy in the restaurant. One was aware we were standing there along with other people and was trying to put an order on to the computer. Eventually he stopped what he was doing and came over and checked us in and then asked the other staff member to finish putting the food order on. Room was clean and bed was comfortable and room temp was about right. Refreshed for the journey the next day
