"Clean comfortable stay"
Great location, comfortable bed, air conditioning fantastic as it was a heatwave outside. Plenty of clean towels. Meal deal good value for evening meal and breakfast, great selection including fresh fruit for breakfast but fried eggs were hard
"Not worthy of 1*"
Avoid at all cost! The rooms were damp, fusty & mouldy. The bathroom drains were clearly blocked also as the smell was pungent from there. No windows opened so we had to sleep with a chair to prop the door open to try and get some air into the room. Being asthmatic the damp, fusty, mouldy smell excarbated my asthma and caused a terrible chesty cough all night. We couldn't wait for morning to come to get out the room. When we complained to the Manager we were told there was nothing she could do onsite other than report it to maintenance but we had to phone a centralised Guest services number if we wished to complain. What a joke! We paid £110 for a night & I very nearly packed up & went to sleep in the car for the night instead. Since staying here and reading other reviews it seems we aren't the only ones to have experienced these same issues.
"Does the job but next time will go elsewhere."
This was a clean hotel in a good location - those boxes are ticked. But for the price paid it would have been nice to have: - Working AC (kept turning itself off) - A working TV - Cheaper parking - Working wifi (the free wifi is unusable, and the hotel blocks phone signal) - Better insulation - we kept getting woken with stamping and banging on the floor above in the middle of the night on the Saturday.
"Premier Inn no longer premier"
Polite staff, clean room and positive check in experience. However, restaurant stops serving food at 9pm even on a Friday night so no dinner and only 1 set of towels, bedside lamp bulb missing and bulb in light over shower not working and tea bags not replenished…that was after paying extra for a Premier Plus room
"Not great at all"
I found that the toilet was stained yellow. You need to press bell to access staff, the person who came was very unfriendly and accommodating. She had made up her mind already! There is no facility to have a late check out, even though they accommodate business. I paid £157.00. It’s ridiculous. I thought they would have this facility like travel lodge etc.
