Exeter (M5 J29) hotel

Good Premier Inn. Very busy but large car park (£8). Room had usual good facilities but was a bit dusty, and a few stains in the bathroom.

We stayed here for three nights in a Premier Plus room and were delighted with our stay. The room offered all the amenities expected, was clean and practical with a comfortable bed. The fridge and Ultimate Wi-Fi were a considerable bonus. The location is excellent with easy access to major routes, but also within short walking distance to the park and ride into the city centre.

Location was fine though not a lot in the was of corner shops etc you can walk to. Fine for 1 night. Casual atmosphere. Room good, though fixed shower head is annoying, better to have one that you can remove to rinse! Breakfast not good. Pasties hard and didn't taste right. No selection, basket always nearly empty. What is advertised should be avaliable. No orange juice. No cutlery to hand.

Stayed overnight following a business trip in Devon. I was immediately disappointed about the additional £8/night parking charge that was not clear at all on booking, and despite plenty of availability given its industrial park location. The room itself was clean and comfortable, though some noise could be heard from adjacent rooms. No-one was available at checkout time, so I left my key card on the desk. Overall, not as good value for money as I'd thought when booking, but the room itself was fine for a short stopover

Upon arrival after paying for early check in, you are unable to use the check in kiosk as they didn't open til 3pm. We tried for a good few minutes to get the receptionist attention by pressing the bell for a good amount of time, eventually having to press and hold the bell down until she physically came out of the room she was in which wasn't the best of starts. We were then given our room key, went all the way up to then find the room wasn't even ready so back down my husband went to again try and get the attention of the receptionist to rectify. Finally we were then able to get into a room and begin our stay after around 25 mins since arriving. The room itself cannot fault, comfy bed, perfect lighting for myself to get ready spacious room etc .
