Exeter City Centre hotel

We stayed in premier inn Exeter from September 4 until September 13 ,for 9 nights and 2 rooms. Breakfast staff were really good. Especially Andriana , at breakfast service, was very helpful and sweet. She was prompt to clean the tables. Chef Sumbal kamran was amazing. She made poached eggs for us everyday and she even warmed the croissants and hash browns for us. Sriram was good is guiding us and hardworking too. The only concern we had was with housekeeping. They don’t do it well and forget to put coffee items and don’t clean bathtub and toilets well . One young Asian housekeeping lady from Hong Kong is amazing. Another older Asian housekeeping lady doesnt clean well and not friendly too. We had dinner once and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately our salmon was frozen and undercooked. She replaced it for a pasta & gave a free soda too. We didn’t expect a reputed hotel to have such average salmon dish. Reception is not accommodating as we asked to extend our stay with a payable amount and also to stay for another day, she said not available. Overall the rooms are spacious, location is amazing and breakfast staff are great. Breakfast Food is very basic and room cleanliness is below average

We stayed here while dropping our eldest off for Freshers’ Week and it was absolutely perfect for what we needed. The location is ideal for a night in the city and St Luke’s Campus is an easy walk away. Despite being so central, it was lovely and quiet, and we all slept really well in the comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent too. The real highlight, though, was the staff. Every member of the team was friendly, welcoming and incredibly accommodating. A special mention to the Sunday morning receptionist who very kindly helped us out by printing some important documents, nothing seemed too much trouble. A great stay in a fantastic location. We’d definitely recommend it!

City Centre location makes walking to main area simple and quick. Room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. Although on site parking not available, parking at Magdalen St wasn’t too far away and was reasonably priced.

Stayed here for access to the RD&E Hospital, easy to get to from this hotel. A very friendly and professional team in this Premier Inn. Great Breakfast items available. Bacon sausages eggs hash browns mushroom beans black pudding, toast pastries crumpets and pancakes, Porridge available on request with my child loved! Easy access to the City centre for evening food and entertainment. Room was clean and well maintained.

Room was spacious and the bed provided wonderful nights sleep I wish to give a special shout out to Eva and her team in the kitchen as I have coeliac and they were very accommodating and cooked all of my breakfasts separately from the buffet range They followed all allergy processes and I felt safe and after 4 days of eating with them had no coeliac symptoms Front of desk in the restaurant was Shriram who led from the front , It is hard not to feel a nuisance when you go with an allergy but they did not make me feel that
