"Great all round"
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Room had air-conditioning to keep at perfect temperature and the beds were really comfortable. Located 5/10 minute walk from town centre but far enough away for a wonderful quiet night. Best cooked breakfast we've had at a Premier Inn. Price was brilliant too.

"Enjoyable stay"
This hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the main shops and about a 20 minute walk away from Exeter St David’s, we discovered there are a few different routes you can take. The hotel was quiet and clean. The black out curtains are great. Staff were kind, polite and helpful. They left a birthday card for my daughter along with a box of Celebrations chocolates, as I’d previously mentioned we were staying on her birthday. The shower and toiletries were absolutely lovely. The bed was comfortable and our daughter slept well on her single/sofa bed. The breakfast is a highlight for me at Premier Inn, the buffet has the perfect selection of food for us. We also had our evening meal in the restaurant and it was delicious. Thank you so much.

"Good experience and we'd use again"
Good central location for our friends' wedding. Though no parking at the hotel, the nearest public car park was a 2 min. drive / 5 min. walk away. Check in is DIY with automated machine located on the first floor. We're not high tech savvy, but without hesitation a helpful staff member assisted us straight away.
Our Premier Plus room was located [as were all] on the 4th floor. Room and bathroom were clean and well appointed, ideal for our 2 night stay. Great air-con that was turned on prior to our arrival. Neither the air-con or surroundings were noisy, ensuring a good night's sleep. Good black-out curtain too.
My only negative comment was that the Premier Plus room were advertised with a rainfall shower. We expected a walk-in shower, not to have to clamber into a bath. It would've been a better experince for us to have a walk-in rainfall shower, or have been given the choice at point of booking.
We didn't include breakfast in our booking, preferring to visit the Cosy Club bar / restaurant just along the road for a late bruch. More expensive, but we preferred their quality of food.
Overall, a good experience and we would use Premier Inn again, if in the area.

"A well located, high quality Premier Inn."
Stayed for one night in July 2026 costing £155 BnB (plus room).
The best thing about the hotel is it's brilliant location, a really short walk to the Cathedral and the centre of Exeter. Sadly there's no car park attached to the hotel at time of writing so that added an extra £20 ish to the cost of the stay. That car park is council run and is a short, flat walk from the hotel. Not that massive though, so it may get full quickly in the high season.
The room itself was typical of the plus variety, everything you need and quite a large room as well. A great bunch of people working there - seemed very friendly and welcoming. A pretty standard bar as well, as is to be expected. Had breakfast there which was your usual buffet style thing but pretty good.
Loads of stuff going on the in the area, the cathedral of course with lots of restaurants, pubs and shops in close proximity. I recommend the Rendez Vous Wine Bar - just over the road from the hotel.
The only downside to this place is the lack of a car park - and the rather expensive alternative.
