"Lovely bed but woeful accessibility"
For a wheelchair user 1. The bathroom grab rails didn’t stay up so so it would have been impossible for a wheelchair user on their own to have a shower 2. The cleaning staff left their trolleys in the hallway and weren’t anywhere to be seen, so if own her own the wheelchair user would have been unable to get to the lift 3. All the wheelchair parking was full so we had to cross a very dark path to get to our building, having had to use up two parking spaces to get the wheelchair in and out of the car. 4. Lighting across the ramp is woeful. Very dangerous for a wheelchair user unable to see how bumpy the ground is 5. The bed was wonderful and Lenny Henry is right. Two nights good sleep guaranteed!

"Not the best."
Worst premier we've stayed in.
Had to ask for tea coffee sugar it's gone from reception.
The breakfast and service was terrible, not worth the money.

"A great stay"
We booked an accessible room for two nights, and were delighted to find that the room had two single beds pushed together, with a single quilt each. That is one of the things I struggle with (sharing a double quilt) so that was such a bonus.
The welcome we received from the reception from Erin and Ella, was superb. They wer both so friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. They offered us advice on local sights to see the following day too, as well as making sure everything was just right with our stay. The next day Jill on reception was equally helpful and friendly.

"Not very Premier"
Room was ok but I didn't get the great night's sleep I was hoping for ..The restaurant not so good ..we were told it had only opened 2 days before our stay which was Sept 5th .. No idea how long or what reason it had been closed for but the table still had the crumbs and remains of the last customers on it ..The cutlery was grim and the cruet was sticky and stained Ordered our food regardless and it was just about edible but that's about it ..Wasn't hopefull for the breakfast we had booked for 7 Adults in total ..Table Was still dirty the next morning. Was booked for 8.30 and it was a long wait for someone to come and take our order Not the buffet style we have experienced at other premier inns as expected Went to get tea and toast while we waited and there was a long queue for a 2 slot scruffy dusty looking old toaster to use ...Quite messy around the Drink making area .Finally our orders were taken and then Another long wait for food .Waitress wasn't very pleasant when she arrived told us to move so she could put the tray down In an abrupt manner .Older lady so not always the kids that get it wrong ..if it was all you can eat as advertised as you would have had to reorder and wait again..The food when it did arrive was hit and miss poached eggs were rock hard tried eggs under cooked ..So Dec not the usual standard that we have had before in other places ..If there is a manger there he needs to be managing a bit more as to what is or is not going on there .

"Mr rooke"
I stayed here in July checked in provided car registration as usual had a nice few days but on arrival home was served with a parking fine, contacted premier inn Barnstaple and they advised me to appeal which I did unfortunately my appeal was rejected and I was left with the option of an independent appeal or pay reduced fine of £15 I reluctantly paid my £15 to see the end of the matter so be aware the staff may not register your car correctly and you may end up with a bill at the end of your stay. I will not be staying there again a holiday ruined thank you premier inn barnstaple
