Ripley hotel

From the outside very much a typical new style Premier Inn unfortunately one which could do with some love on the inside. Our first issue was that the lift wasn't working properly and a member of staff had go and find it after it didn't respond to the call button on the ground floor. The standard of cleanliness in the room was quite low compared to many other hotels. In the 21st century why is full wifi an extra add on cost, come on get with the times. I also dislike having to pay an addition fee just to leave my car overnight when I'm already paying to stay in the hotel, do they expect you to walk to the hotel? Rating stars have been lost due to fee for full Wifi and car parking

The hotel was lovely, Elleigh was so helpful getting our party of 14 situated with all our rooms and booking tables for breakfast ☺️

The hotel is clean but feels a little dated. I was checked in by Elleigh on reception who was super helpful and pleasant. She went out of her way to help with WiFi and EV charging queries I had and helped to resolve the issues efficiently. She’s Had a smile on her face each time I’ve walked through reception

We had to do a last minute booking to stay for 4 nights. We were greeted by Teresa with a beaming friendly welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. She is a credit to your company. The room was clean and tidy. The restaurant was welcoming and food good. Whoever was in charge of cooking dinners on 24 March knows how to cook a steak as requested which can be a rarity. All the members of both hotel and restaurant need to be congratulated. Only down side being you charge for parking now disappointing.

very warm welcome when we arrived, extra pillows provided on request. Room was very clean, on 2nd floor facing the car park and was very quiet. We took advantage of the evening meal and breakfast deal which was very good value for money and all food was lovely
