Great location super clean and the staff were friendly welcoming and helpful We asked for a different room with an opening window . This was soon sorted without any problem and without making us feel we were putting anyone out

Wrong room our room was still occupied by someone had chosen to extend their stay, asked what compensation only no charge for parking and ultimate WiFi

Overall a great stay. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Premises were clean and tidy. WiFi was hit and miss. Some of the food was a tad bland. The bed felt worn but the worst part was all the flooring creaked as you walked on it. Very annoying especially during the night. I would stay here again though.

We stayed here for 2 nights as the Matlock Premier Inn was fully booked. It's a little further out of the way (for us at least) and added extra time to our journey every day, but it was reasonably priced. Comfortable beds. Air-con. They had soundproof sliders over the windows, so it was very quiet; you couldn't hear the main road at all. There is a restaurant on site which had a great meal deal offer. 27.99 for a 2-course dinner, one drink, plus breakfast the next day. They stop serving dinner at 9.30 pm, so if you need anything later, you'll have to make do with McDonald's next door! Food was well cooked, and the service was quick. We only had the continental breakfast, so can't speak for the cooked breakfast. But it was good value and convenient for when you just want to get on the road. A couple of not great things: the hotel itself, once you go through to the rooms, smells old and damp. We couldn't smell it inside the room, thankfully, but definitely in the hallways. The room seemed a little tired in places. You can tell this is one of their older locations. You also have to pay £3.30 per day for parking, which isn't great, but definitely more reasonable than we experienced at the Premier Inn in Milton Keynes! Also, the Wi-Fi was poor, and we ended up paying £6 per day for the Ultimate Wi-Fi, which, in my opinion, should be included in the cost of the stay. Once you add up all the extra costs, it's not as cheap as it originally appears! Overall, I would recommend this for short stays only. If you need somewhere comfortable to sleep before you get back on the road, it's perfect.

£130 to stay here for one night and they charge £3:30 for parking! Why ? It’s an out of town location not near any attractions or shops. Pure money grabbing. Absolute disgrace , I’ve stayed in many Premier Inns in locations like this and never had to pay extra to park. Should make it clear when booking that you have to pay to park. Outrageous to charge for this location.
