"Large groups Be warmed"
The room was clean but the smell was very unpleasant, stale and damp came to mind !!
We were with a large group and we had been book for some time and the meal service was diabolical! We were asked to pre order our meals and what time to be in the dining room but some dishes that were ordered they didn’t have the ingredients
Then a mix up with orders and then the wait!!!!
Come on guys when a large group book GET Your Act together!!!!!! Not good enough ! The group sat on different tables but the meals didn’t come as a table service it was very poorly unorganised and very badly managed , the manager seamed not to understand how to run a dining room!! Premier inn need to address this situation!!!
No one else to blame but the staff dealing with the service!
I can’t believe in this day and age we deal with this kind of mayhem!!

"I will remember the hotel, but not for the right reasons……"
Paint Work outside is very drab and blackened.
Lady on the desk was awesome.
Poo on the toilet roll dispenser I assume It’s probably still there. NOT CLEAN!
Food basic not home-cooked at all. Either grilled or deep-fried.
Had breakfast and two evening meals. Got food poisoning with chronic diarrhoea and not eaten anywhere else!
Eating area, reminded Me of a Scandinavian youth hostel, It Wasn’t particularly warm and there was no need for extra Aircon!
To be fair, it did sour our Experience…

"Excellent customer service and spotless rooms"
Absolutely brilliant staff..Rooms are clean and bright and got a bus stop just outside hotel that takes where you need to go to.. Russel was amazing in the restaurant very friendly and helpful. On Monday night we had a problem with the shower and Callum fixed it straight away.
We will definitely be returning.. Keep up the good work 🙂

As we live locally we often pop in for breakfast. The staff greet you and Dawn is extremely friendly and works hard to make everyone feel at home. The food is hot and plentiful but some of the busier time you may have a slight wait. The restaurant is clean and inviting. Keep up the good work guy!!!

On the edge of town and less than a mile from the train station, Premier Inn Matlock is only a couple of miles from the Victorian spa resort of Matlock Bath.
