"Fantastic stay"
On my arrival at the Premier Hotel, I was warmly greeted by the receptionist, Abbie, who could not have made me feel more welcome. Despite an initial issue with being allocated a twin room instead of the double room I had booked, Abbie quickly resolved the matter, even while she was busy checking in other guests. She remained calm, professional, and friendly throughout, taking the time to engage in pleasant conversation.
During the evening meal in the restaurant, I was equally impressed by the genuinely welcoming staff. The quality of my meal was excellent, and the lady chef deserves particular credit for producing such a high standard of food while catering for a busy restaurant full of guests.
Overall, the entire team provided outstanding service and made my stay a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Well done to everyone!

"Great stay but give the restaurant a miss."
I had a lovely 4 night stay here with my daughter for a few days visiting the area. We included breakfast in our stay and was greeted by a lovely lady every morning who called everyone "flower" she made us smile straight away. My only disappointment was the evening meal. So glad I didn't choose the meal deal that kept getting pushed at me. The restaurant was completely closed one night and the next I was given a list of things they didn't have on the menu begire I even sat down. The food we did get was very disappointing.

"Motorbike Theives in the area. DO NOT BRING BIKES HERE!"
Me and 8 freinds all brought motorbikes to this premier inn to complete the matlock routes. On the first night theives scouted our bikes and cut all our motorbike chains off. Luckily they were unable to move the bikes despite severing the chains anchoring them to one another as we had also used disc locks. We had to leave our stay a day early after only one night to avoid the theives returning the following night to finish the job. The premier inn did not refund any money or support us with secure storage. DO NOT bring your motorbikes here unless you want it stolen.

"A Room With A Smell???"
Stayed for 4 nights. The first night I was in room 221. Though clean, the room did not smell pleasant at all... like an old vacuum cleaner bag or old, sweaty socks.
I thought it might disappear overnight but it didn't. Even air freshener didn't help.
Not sure what was causing it, so got a room change... next door to room 223 as not much else available.
Initially room 223 smelled fine, but when I put the air-conditioning on to cool the room down, that smell was noticeable, but to a far lesser degree than in room 221.
With temperatures hitting 30 degrees Celsius and above during my stay, putting the air conditioning on at times was necessary.
It isn't possible to open the windows to air the rooms at this hotel.
I remained in room 223 for 3 of my 4 nights.
Also got the person next door to room 221 on my first nights stay endlessly flicking switches on and off...incredibly annoying as was very audible.
I have no issues with any of the staff at this hotel, but perhaps the air-conditioning system needs an overhaul.
