"Friday night break"
Overnight stay to visit Cromford, hotel reasonably well situated , comfortable clean room, good breakfast [toaster a bit slow]. Good safe parking

"Everything we wanted for a one night stay."
Easy to find and park. 10-15 minute walk into town. Modern building. No issues with the room it was clean, comfortable bed, and a good shower. Quiet with no outside noise in room 206. Self service check in worked OK but there were staff nearby in the restaurant. The shining light was the excellent breakfast and the cheery helpful staff. Everything we wanted for a one night stay.

The location of this Premier Inn is very good, 10 minutes comfortable walk into Matlock. Car park is free, plenty of room for all.Our room was typical Premier Inn, comfy bed as always.I feel the rooms are in need of a coat of paint and a freshen up. Windows can’t be opened leaving a musty/fusty smell on entry to room. Cleaning also left a lot to be desired if looking closely…dust, cobwebs noticeable.We did sleep well as it was very quiet.
We had received an offer of inclusive breakfast during our stay which I have to say was very good! Good selection of hot food and fruit,yogurt and croissants,and unlimited tea and coffee.Staff manning the restaurant appeared happy in their work, chatting to us as they went about their jobs!
All in all we enjoyed our stay and would return. Thank you Premier Inn Matlock!

"Lovely hotel and a great stay."
2 night stay here and no issues at all. Really lovely lad helped me check in (Wednesday 10th June around 3pm) so friendly, explained everything to me and incredibly helpful.
Room was perfect, very clean, everything you needed and super comfy nights sleep.
Breakfast was fine, everything you needed and being replenished very quickly. Staff are happy, lovely gentleman on Thursday morning who was so happy and checking everyone was good and had what they needed.
Really lovely hotel, friendly helpful staff and I would recommend and stay here again when visiting my family who live local.
Matlock is a beautiful place and you are very central to town and all amenities should you need.
