"Disappointing, needs refurb!"
There was no one on reception upon our arrival. Very dated rooms, they definitely don’t look like the pictures above which are dated 2019, they don’t have the corporate bedding & the bathrooms aren’t the same either! The carpets along the corridors & in the rooms are so old/worn it makes them look dirty, the hotel needs a refurb. Even though our room was booked for two, there was only one bath towel! The only upside to this hotel is free parking! This is my 2nd visit to a Premier Inn since July & that was as disappointing as this therefore this will put me off booking with them in the future!

"Only visited for breakfast, but very impressed with the staff team."
Just wanted to recognise a staff member who was on duty for breakfast this morning and yesterday.
Her name is Amy and she is absolutely brilliant. She is so efficient and nothing is too much trouble. Even when she is really busy, she is so friendly and bubbly. She made time to ask about us and what our plans were, having a laugh and joke as she went about her work.
She's a gem and Premier Inn should be proud to employ her.
Also, the lady who was manager this morning. I didn't get her name but she was also lovely, so friendly and helpful. Well done to the team.

"Another perfect stay"
Another perfect stay at Derby West. The team at Derby West are brilliant nothing is too much trouble. Very welcoming hotel. Breakfast is fantastic, really hot & freshly cooked. The evening menu is really good totally recommend the steak.
I will definitely be back.

"Dingy and Tired"
West Derby, Bathroom had mould on the tiles, the shower curtain was dirty also had mould, the mirror was flaking had mould on it and was dirty. The carpet in the main bedroom was thread bare in places and the whole room smelt unclean, all in all very dirty and tired

Roooms are clean and tidy, prices as competitive as can be but the big difference is the service. Catherine in particular could not have been more helpful l. Helped with rooms l, beds, early check in, nothing was too much trouble. It was such a nice gesture
