      "Recent stay"
      Comfortable bed, staff friendly but evening food poor and over priced. Breakfast better. TV old and not working, did report it . Construction work outside makes entrance not appealing No room air conditioning which on a hot day not good , just have a free standing fan, which blow hot air around room .

      Hannah and Ami were both really amazing. 10/10 would recommend for service. All night they were very attentive to everyone in a very busy restaurant. Nelson the chef was working really hard in a very hot kitchen all night. Highly recommend all the staff here.

      Been staying at derby west regularly since January as attending the hospital opposite. The rooms are generous and well equipped , including a fan!! The staff are fabulous.. Ami ,Stuart, Catherine and the rest of the team can not do enough for you. I've eaten in the restaurant and the food has always been very good. Always my go to when I'm at the hospital and I've been there on a weekly basis.
      "OK Hotel but hot"
      ME AND MY WIFE STAYED SECOND WEEK OF JUNE. stayed during extremely hot week and understood that there wasn’t the option of air conditioning unit which was unfortunate in the end. Apart from that and the eyesore of the car park it was OK

      Stuart and Ami were fantastic also Dan in Kitchen. Food was really good .I was served by Hannah in the restaurant also. The refurbishment that has happened here is also impressive. Very nice new restaurant. Will be back very soon highly recommend !!
