"Excellent stay with friendly and helpful staff"
I've just spent 6 nights here while visiting family in the area. The hotel is easy to find and has plenty of parking. I am disabled and use a mobility scooter. There is disabled parking at the hotel. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. I was travelling alone and they made sure I could cope and was comfortable. I had a lovely room with an accessible wet room which was perfect for my needs. Breakfast had a good choice and very tasty. I will definitely return and would highly recommend this hotel.

"A home away from home"
Convenient location just opposite Royal Derby Hospital. Near Aldi supermarket and McDonald's.
Staff- extremely polite and kind. Went out of their way to make us feel comfortable in every way possible. Catherine, Stuart, Sean and Amy notably.
Rooms - clean, comfortable, relaxing beds. Storage spaces limited.
Food - breakfast was sufficient. Opt for breakfast option during booking. Lunch not available. Dinner there are good options, serving sizes are small.
Other facilities- room cleaning on request, iron and board on request. Kettle, hair dryer available. No microwave or other such cooking options.
Thank you to Premier inn Derby West for making my two weeks stay so comfortable.

"The most brilliant customer service"
Thank you for a wonderful stay. We were lucky enough to have called the day prior to arriving and spoke to the fabulous Katherine who was so incredibly friendly and helpful on the phone. She was also there to greet us when we arrived and was just wonderful and even left a little treat for us in our room! We’ve enjoyed many stays with Premier Inn but this is the one that really stands out, solely due to Katherine and the fantastic team there. We will definitely be back 😁

Absolutely nothing to complain about in my 4 night stay Staff were welcoming and helpful upon arrival Room was usual Premier Inn standard ,clean and comfortable
The new onsite restaurant is great and offers a good range for breakfast and dinner
The staff in the restaurant again were very helpful

"Comfy bed, mouldy bathroom and smelly stay."
Bed was comfy, however room smelled funny - turns out to be due to mould growing in the bathroom due to extractor fan not working.
Reception cleaned the wrong room and then didn't clean our room after realising the error.
