    "Excellent"
    Excellent throughout, Sharon was the manager she was very welcoming throughout and nothing was an problem, the restaurant was ok, this hotels in a great location.
    "Peak District adventures"
    What a fantastic stay we had. This hotel is in an ideal location for the near by peak district. What made our stay great, the fact that the car park is free is one, the warm welcome we received was two, the great value breakfast and the kids ate free was three, and fourth the most comfortably nights sleep we all had. The only downside is the lack of aircon, however this is a luxury we don’t have in our home so wouldn’t expect it any where else. The room it self was clean to as a high standard as could be with this being an old building, but you can see the staff do their best.

    Rude staff. Stayed many times will not be returning. Even closed the bar at 9 ! With no warning. Very different to other stays.
    "Family gathering"
    A great place to meet with family from all around the country. Firstly the welcome we received was the best we have had in any hotel stay. Secondly the hotel was very clean despite it being an old hotel. Thirdly the rooms were extremely hot, however we can’t control that we stayed in the heatwave and we knew they do not have aircon. They did offer iced water on reception, and only the cover on the bed with a fan in the room, this helped slightly. Fourthly the restaurant attached accommodated our big family reunion, food was good and all served at the same time. We will consider coming again next year. Thankyou to all the hard working staff.
    "Like sleeping in a furnace"
    Like staying in a sauna the hottest hotel room i have ever stayed in . As near train track the noise with the window open was terrible and the trains ran all night . Brewers Fayre food was very nice but you dont have enough staff 😒
