Excellent reception staff, resgtaurant staff, room service staff.
Very sad the restaurant is closing and becoming just a breakfast room.
Air con needed in hotel rooms.
Brewers Fayre food is basic but accelptable.

Room was fine, but the heat in the room was unbearable. Window only allowed you to open it about an inch, so the fan just circulated stifling heat.
The restaurant/pub adjoined where we went for breakfast was appalling. Pre booked for 9:30am and was waiting about 15 mins to sit down not because of availability but poor service. The restaurant standards were also poor, definitely will not return.

"Not a bad place to stay, but could be better."
A great location for us. Easy access to roads and town. Staff were friendly and willing to help when we asked about a problem with our fan. No there is no air con and it does become very stuffy in the room due to the restrictions on how much you can open a window. It's placed well with the restaurant close buy and this is a reasonable price for food.
Sadly the decor in the room is tired and one if the USB didn't work. The cleanliness in the bathroom could have been better. Mould in the grout. My husband woke up to a spider on his pillow. So definitely needs a deeper clean and the window frames in Room 3 are disgusting. I'm not sure if cleaners don't get the time or just don't look at cleaning around the window area. There's a musty smell in the hallway by the vending machines. To be honest it was an OK stay but with a little effort it could be a great stay.
