"Nice stay"
I had a nice enough 2 night stay here while exploring the Peak District for the weekend.
I found the hotel a bit tricky to get to at first - it is close to the town centre but it was an unexpected turning off a busy and confusing roundabout - I sailed straight past it first time but at the second attempt I arrived ok and was checked in by a nice and friendly lady.
There was a lift so no struggling up the stairs with luggage - hurrray!
Bed was as comfy as you'd expect from a Premier Inn and the room was clean, however it is important to say that this Premier Inn is right next door to a railway line and the trains run all night. I find Premier Inn rooms to be unbearably hot if you don't open the window - so there was a lot of train noise.
Unfortunately the vending machine wasn't working but the restaurant attached is very nice - you can book a table at reception so you don't miss out.

Enjoyed our stay at Chesterfield north, easy location. Perfect caring atmosphere. Very comfortable and clean. Parking was easy.

Spacious family room, nice and clean. We always choose to stay here when we visit family in Chesterfield as its well located by Tescos / Sainsburys, Brewers Fayre nextdoor for breakfast, plenty of car parking. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist and felt safe.

"Long stay workers early morning disruption!"
We stay here quite regularly however, this time there were lots of long stay sole male guests in rooms who got up early for work. First night we were subjected to lots of thudding from upstairs which went on till midnight and began again at 4am. TV was LOUD at 4am!
Changed rooms for the second night and were again subjected to loud noise from 4am. Staff are aware of these problems and although empathetic, told us nothing much could be done!
I strongly suggest they introduce a separate area for these long stay workers away from the other guests so disruption is minimised. It can’t be that difficult! Spoiled our stay completely and had to drive 4hrs home dog tired!

Very clean great hotel kind staff particularly receptionists Barbara and Michelle. Nothing is to much for them. Great value you wont be disappointed.
