      "Dave day stay"
Stayed here for Dave Day weekend in Barrow In Furness, must say I was impressed with the room, bed, and all the staff, Janet, and Sam went out of their way to look after us, would recommend
      "Morning breakfast"

      "Sunday stay"
Really enjoyed our stay at Ulverston Premier Inn. The place is spotless. Good size car park. Check in was easy and quick. The room was very clean. The bed was good for me. Good size room. Shower was good with good body shampoo. Breakfast was amazing well worth it if your staying there. Will definitely be back now we know what it’s like.
"Lacks The Polish You Expect From Premier Inn"
Prior to our stay I had read that many Premier Inns put a complimentary bottle of water in the room… I did email hoping Ulverston did and asked if so, could three be put in the room and the extra cost added to the bill that I’d be settling on arrival. I received an email back stating that Ulverston did not put water in the rooms but they were available from a vending machine in the hotel. So, no issue there we thought! On arrival on Saturday 24th I settled the bill, bought a bottle of water from the vending machine and went to our room 207… Beds had been made up for three people but there were only two tea/coffee mugs provided. No issue, we were only dropping the bags off as our friends who live local were waiting outside; so just asked the lady on Reception if she could rectify that for us and she said she would. We arrived back at the hotel quite late on but when we got to the room, no third mug! Basically, we nicked one off the buffet counter the following morning, so solved the issue ourselves. Sunday 25th: No issue but noted in the evening there was no more still water in the vending machine (we had bought the last one on Saturday), so bought a sparkling water instead. Monday 26th: No issue other than the vending machine still had not been replenished and there was no sparkling water in the machine either… So, we bought a coke! Tuesday 27th: When coming down for breakfast we put the card on the door asking for the room to be cleaned etc. Also spoke to the lady on breakfast duty and told her and she said she’d deal with it… We arrived back at the room after 22:00 to find the card still on the door and nothing done in the room! I did email there and then to tell someone/anyone and as yet that email has gone unanswered. Wednesday 28th: Came down for breakfast (same lady on duty again)… Told her the room hadn’t been done, she assured me that she’d told the housekeeper and I accepted that but she then followed me into the restaurant repeating several times that she had asked for it to be done; which I found a little unnecessary if not strange. After breakfast as we were leaving the hotel, we again made sure the room was going to be done, we were assured that it would be. On return, as good as their word, it had been… However, we found that only towels for two people had been provided and the toilet paper had not been replenished. As it was our last night, we didn’t bother saying anything as it was obvious this is a recurring issue where staff say things will get done and they either don’t, or only get half done. Thursday 29th: Checkout day… No bottles of any kind in the vending machine! So we couldn’t purchase anything for our journey home. Obviously, I have no idea what your contract is with Selecta but in a previous job a “Services Manager” at a production facility employing over 250 people, my chosen vending company was Selecta and I know if they are informed of products running low or out completely, they will bend over backwards to get a van out to top up the machines. I can only imagine that no one is responsible for checking and/or reporting such things. So, over all I do think you could do better in these areas and I hope you pay some attention to this complaint and make future customers visits just a little more pleasant than ours. *Update* Premier Inn have since offered a small refund on the room booking but my complaint wasn't about the money, it was about getting better service for future customers.
