"Great Staff"
The staff in this Premier Inn make the stay. They are friendly and helpful. Usually park across the road in the Pencil Museum but seem to have stopped overnight parking. The staff recommended other places and when I pointed out my OH’s mobility problems they upgraded our room to one with a walk-in shower. In the end parked at car park behind Bryson’s. A little bit of a walk but not bad. Room was good but had been set up for only one person ie one bath towel and one hand towel. Told reception and they were going to get us another one but we didn’t bother. Again the same with no hairdryer. The room was very hot and the windows don’t open so bear this in mind. Paid for the breakfast which was very good and cheaper than going into the town for something similar, plus more available.
"Great stay"
Great stay and great location. Room clean and modern and staff friendly and go out of their way for you. Will be returning next year.
"Comfy stay"
Staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly! Room was clean and beds were of course very comfy. Definitely book their unlimited breakfast as it will get you energised and ready for adventures in Lake District!
"Good launchpad into Keswick"
Very friendly and helpful staff at a hotel that is wonderfully situated for great views at breakfast and easy access to the town centre. However, the facilities are somewhat worn and dated and parking is limited.
"Money stolen and booking changed, you don't get what you pay for"
Terrible hotel. They change your booking, give you the wrong room. I booked a 2 bed room, it got changed to a 1 bed and 1 sofa bed room. When we refused to stay they said we would have a full refund because the booking was changed. The next day they invoiced me and took the money. After complaining on the phone and spending 45 mins on a call with them they stood by their decision to charge us. Full refund said to us, but charged. Pathetic service especially when we booked with a supposed trusted hospitality brand name. We will never stay at a premier inn again. On top of that, the parking they told us was £12.00 but not guaranteed parking and our best bet was to park over 3 miles away and take a taxi back to the hotel. Meanwhile at least 3 cars in the car park belonged to their own staff.
