Keswick hotel

Stayed for one night BnB - £120 (Standard room with a view) + £12 parking. First of all, it is a great location to visit Keswick. Just outside the town centre, flat and easy to walk to. Right on the banks of the river, I'd suggest paying a couple of quid extra for a 'view' room as you get that river and the mountains. The room was good, as you'd expect from Premier Inn - nothing wrong with it. Plenty of plug sockets in the right locations. Clean and fully stocked with what you need. Didn't go for a 'plus' one this time as we were only there for one night. You're going to go short for a pub to visit whilst there, there are loads of them and they all look pretty good. Plenty of places to grab a bite to eat as well. I'd recommend the retro museum a short walk away for a bit of fun. The one downside is, as is mentioned on the website, the car park is VERY small. Managed to get a space though, luckily - the last one. Then again, it was a weekend and the sun was out. Breakfast wasn't that brilliant - not up to standard really. Did the job though. I'd stay there again, but would skip the breakfast.

Having stayed at premier inns alot, the bench mark was set by a visit to Premier inn Hub on Rose Street Edinburgh. Having never stayed at the Keswick premier inn before the reception was 1st class by Paul, what an advocate for the Keswick one great customer service 5 star Keep up the good work Paul aka ( Basil )

This hotel now charges guests for parking (£12 daily) which now makes me consider other places that do free parking……..

We stayed here for two nights and it was mostly a good stay. Comfortable room, nice sized bathroom, helpful staff (although there's rarely anyone on reception, have to buzz for someone to help). Our room on the top floor was really quiet. There is a small car park underneath the hotel which is priced at £12 per night, but this was mostly full for the duration of our stay. There's another paid car park literally a 1-min walk away which is actually cheaper at £10. Only minor issues - we had to ask for another towel as were only given one for two people. Loo roll hadn't been stocked so ran out really quickly! We also arrived 40 minutes before check-in time and were told early check-in would cost £15 which is just blatant money grabbing.

great situation in Keswick - close to centre. small car park but a public carpark across the road was convenient enough (and cheaper!). + room with fridge and upgraded wi-fi was good and we slept really well. Staff on reception and at breakfast really friendly and efficient. will stay again.
