"Could do better."
The room was fine but the staff were deeply uninspiring. I asked if they did an evening meal and was told "well we do but its very limited" - It was! The hotel is in such a beautiful location. I had hoped for more. It had a very hostel like feel to it.
"Disappointing"
Comfortable bed, blind useless looked as though it had been forced and was torn clearly not checked prior to arrival, generally clean & tidy. Reasonable price for a standard room £114 (plus £10.99 breakfast and £12 parking) a couple of weeks later double the price, more than a very good quality hotels nearby which include breakfast, certainly won't be staying ever during the school holidays
"Comfortable stay but several niggles"
This was our first stay at a Premier Inn and we were there for four nights. We had booked an accessible room as my wife has mobility issues as a result of a stroke. We are both 80+. The bathroom had wide access and was well set up with grab rails and emergency pull cords. However, there was no walk-in shower that my wife could access. There was a low-level bath with a shower over it. This does not qualify as accessible and we should have been informed. On raising the issue I was told that other accessible rooms in the hotel do have walk-in showers but not this one. Other than that, the room was fine and the beds were comfortable. Unlimited breakfast was great and there was a cheerful welcome from staff on arrival at the restaurant in the morning. The evening meal was a different matter. Minimal staffing meant that, 3 evenings out of 4, it took us nearly 90 minutes to get through a fairly minimal 2-course meal. Once I had to go and search for someone to bring us our dessert, banging on the counter to get attention (eventually). The fish and chips dish was excellent but took nearly an hour to arrive after ordering. Premier Inn is designed to run on minimal staffing. Both check-in terminals were out of action for most of the time we were there, but there was a staff member to check us in when we arrived. Parking is limited and costs £12 a day/night if you are more than 30 minutes. Even if you pay, there is no guarantee there will still be a space if you take your car out and then return. Great lifts!

Its ok, get what you expect. My issue was with parking, I know that parking can fill up sometimes but I would expect that the staff have a few suggestions of alternatives when asked, and not just a shoulder shrug. Luckily it was fairly easy to find long term parking, but a bit of a walk.
"Wouldn't choose again"
Easy to park, although think it should be free for guests. Easy check in although auto/check in was out of order. Appeared to be run by kids. Bar person illusive in evenings. Said served food till 9:30pm but at 8 decided they didn't want to be bothered so said kitchen was shut. Chef disorganised at breakfast leaving people waiting for hot food. Wouldn't return as plenty of B&B options.
