Carlisle M6 Jct44 hotel

Dreadful rip off. Booked because it was premier plus on website, as they say they have Aircon. Booked 2.5 hours before arrival. Arrived, no Aircon. Baking room at 26 degrees. Checked out without touching the room 5 minutes later. Room untouched. Reception said they could not refund. Customer service now refused to refund. The room was not fit for human inhabitation at 26 degrees. So much for their sleep guarantee promises. They are a scam. Unapologetic and no escalation. This room would have been unused and I didn’t use it. Even said I should have booked a flexible rate, but that wouldn’t have mattered as only booked it 2.5 before arrival, so they tell me my fault would have been them stealing even more money from me. I will be taking these thieving hoteliers through the small claims courts for the £150+ they stole from me. Complete disgrace.

This hotel is clean, well-kept with friendly staff and is very conveniently located. Being so close to Junction 44 of the M6 is great for trips out further afield and yet the immediate environment around the hotel is green and pleasant and surprisingly rural-looking. Moreover, a huge Asda stores is only a short walk away. The hotel's free Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout our six-night stay and was fast enough for streaming YouTube videos. The car park is large enough for there always to be easy and convenient parking and we appreciated this being free of any additional charges. We must also mention the fantastic, beautifully-cooked eat-all-one-likes breakfasts. A great stay! Thank you!

Absolutely perfect! Been here a couple times as it’s the perfect spot to go when we are travelling back down from Scotland. Once again was greeted by Sam at the front desk. Don’t know if he remembered us from last time but we remembered his welcoming smile! Checked us in perfectly and we went about our day. Last visit we ventured out for food however this time we chose to eat at the restaurant. I’ve been to many premier inns, the food has been decent many times but the service hasn’t. Our server Alesha sat us to our table by the window. The steak was amazing, service was amazing, as was the speed of it all. Such a great spot right by the motorway for those like us travelling about.

Great stay! Clean, comfortable room and a great night’s sleep. Check-in was quick and easy, reception staff were lovely! Would definitely stay here again.

Room was very poor the bathroom smelt of smoke (cigarette) The usual cock up at the reception regarding meal allowance from my company (£35) it was written on the booking at the reception. The restaurant no idea about (no communication) even though it was written down on my booking I eventually gave up and ate out. Its happened so many times in the past, thought it would have changed, no same problems, same people, same Premier Inn . Ill tell the company not to book anyone in there, its not worth the stress... needless to say its last tim (thank goodness) I'll be staying there. Bye the way I blame the comany, not the staff, The premier Inn is a nightmare...
