Carlisle Central hotel

Welcoming clean and wonderful breakfast ! Premier plus worth the supplement for the air con and the fridge ! Location perfect for cycling along the river and around the city in the early morning .

I stayed at the Premier Inn Carlisle Central from July 16 to the 20th of July. I found a staff on the reception very helpful and staff inthe bar and the restaurant were very helpful as well. I left a set of AirPods in my room and the Hotel contacted me and I’ve just spoken to Gail on reception this evening Monday, the 3rd of August and she was so helpful to find my AirPods and will be posted out to me on Tuesday, the 4th of August. I am very grateful for the way the staff handled my phone call. I was asked a lot of questions to make sure I was the person I said I was so that is very good security I will definitely usethis Hotel again if I’m in the area kind regards. John cox

Room was dirty and mould in the bathroom. The bedding was thrown on and not comfortable at all. Staff were not available when I went to complain in the morning they were on the phones. Raised a complaint when I got home to be told I should have spoken to staff in the morning. I had a wedding to attend and could not wait around. They don't care the rooms are dirty and mouldy!

This is a great location very near the m6, with lots of parking spaces. Room fully equipped with bed, bathroom, kettle. On site is also Brewers Fayre. The hotel is about 30 minutes walk into the city, this was ideal.

Most things as you would expect. However it was a hot day. No air conditioning in the room and windows that would only open about 6 inches. Outside the window was the output from the restaurant's air conditioning unit... adding heat and considerable noise. Seriously considered going to sleep in the car and having the air conditioning running. Some of the medication that I take makes it difficult to cope with heat.
