    "Great location"
    Great location for our trip. Very good parking, really friendly pub attached. Nice quick breakfast service. Good stay.

    Used hotel as stopover to our final destination. Tired grumpy phone out of charge but Tracey helped us technophobes out by talking us through the app.

    The staff go out of their way to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. Tracey in particular was incredible helpful and thoughtful.

    The hotel is very run down and in major need of a refurbishment. The whole place is grotty and feels more like a hostel. We are happy to stay in a basic premier inn for value when we don’t tend to be in the rooms much other than to sleep and wash but this was honestly so awful, grotty, dingy and mouldy. Husbands pillow had mould spots on, the bathroom was thick with mould, all the decoration was chipped and flaking away or had staining up it. Surfaces scratched and chipped very badly. Cobwebs in the corners and along the ceiling. Carpet was filthy and we went out to buy slippers to avoid having to touch even with socks. The only positive thing to say is the lady on reception completely understood why we were upset and managed to outbook us to another hotel for the remainder of our stay (premier inn Central on Warwick Road) as the newest renovated hotel and what a difference, this hotel was much more in keeping with the premier inn brand , rooms basic and modern but very clean and just what was needed to feel confortable. Photos of first hotel attached but honestly it was much worse than the pictures could show
    "Friendly & helpful welcome"
    Friendly & welcoming check-in & Tracy was really helpful in accommodating us with a ground floor room. We've stayed in this hotel on many occasions & the room is a bit tired, but the bed & bedding is so comfy & the hot shower more than makes up for it.

    Carlisle is the ideal base to explore the grandeur of the Lake District. And Premier Inn Hotel Carlisle Central North is a grand place to stay, putting you within easy reach of the national park as well as the business and leisure facilities of the historic city centre. Whether you're strolling along Carlisle high street, or stomping along High Street Fell, there's plenty to distract you here. Some visitors come to buy livestock at the Harrison & Hetherington auction market, others to spend time on Hadrian's Wall. Every September there's the Tour of Britain cycle race too. Then it's time to unclip from the pedals and unwind back at the hotel with our extra-comfy beds and a delicious meal at the restaurant next to us.
