I have stayed at this hotel several times during visits to Carlisle, and I have always found it to be a good and dependable place to stay. The rooms are comfortable, the location is convenient, and the hotel is easy to reach from the main roads.
There is a supermarket close by and a pub nearby, which is useful after travelling or working during the day. The management is also good, especially Tracey, who is helpful, professional, and clearly cares about guests having a pleasant stay.
A solid choice for anyone travelling to Carlisle, whether for work, a short break, or simply passing through the area.

Lovely welcome by Tracey who dealt with us promptly and so friendly. Our room was a little dated but very clean, clean bathroom, and comfy beds.

"Great stop off close to the M6"
Great location, only a few minutes off the M6 at the North End of Carlisle. Co located with the Greene King Gosling Bridge Inn. Adjoining door, so you don't even have to step outside to get food and a drink, unless you want to of course. Really quiet given the location, but great to be away from Motorway and A Road noise. Two filling stations nearby with fuel at a fraction of motorway prices. Receptionist (Tracey) was really helpful and friendly. Def stay again.

Carlisle is the ideal base to explore the grandeur of the Lake District. And Premier Inn Hotel Carlisle Central North is a grand place to stay, putting you within easy reach of the national park as well as the business and leisure facilities of the historic city centre.
Whether you're strolling along Carlisle high street, or stomping along High Street Fell, there's plenty to distract you here. Some visitors come to buy livestock at the Harrison & Hetherington auction market, others to spend time on Hadrian's Wall. Every September there's the Tour of Britain cycle race too. Then it's time to unclip from the pedals and unwind back at the hotel with our extra-comfy beds and a delicious meal at the restaurant next to us.
