      "Never again!!"
We normally stay in premier inn due to husbands disability and the accessible rooms, we are normally quite pleased with the room facilities etc, however this premier inn i hope is the exception to the rule. Initially walking in the building itself looked old and worn and the corridors looked dark and dingy and reminded me of an old care home. Once in the room (accessible) it was evident that the room would not be suitable for some one with severe mobility issues with the bed in the middle of the room and little room round the bed for mobility aids, we had to rearrange the room ourselves as was informed by "Tracey" that that was the only available accessible room. On moving the bed we started to realise the lack of house keeping in this hotel, we found food scraps and plastic under the bed, everything was covered in dust and the fitting broken and hanging off of the wall (bedside light). Also the bathroom in the accessible room is not accessible as has a bath and the toilets are cramned into corners of room so people with mobility issues would struggle to use, and yet again the cleanliness left alot to be desired. The second room was on the 1st floor, accessed be stairs only we had decided that my husband would sleep alone in the "accessible " room and I would share with our daughter in her family room, which again was dark, dingy and dusty. The bathroom also smelt that it had been recently used (stinking). We went to reception to ask for bedding for the sofa and was told that it should be under the bed, however this was not the case the only thing under the bed was a pull out bed with an inch+ dust on top of it. Tracey then gave us the master key to go check another room for bedding, as she did not have access to any. We discussed what we had found with Tracey and she said she was only a receptionist and had to listen to everyone's complaints, (not very professional). Then onto the restaurant and food, which again looks old and worn. Staff have no attention to detail leaving food on chairs when clearing up after customers, swearing to one another while walking past customers. Thankfully the food was cheap as could have made better at home from Iceland processed meals. In 2 words, DONT GO!
      "Tracey was fantastic 👏"
Tracey on reception was awesome. Welcoming and more so accommodating. My Dad wasn't keen on the walk upstairs and preferred a ground floor room due to health reasons. Tracey was all over it, couldn't do enough helping beyond what she need to to help out. Thank you Tracey credit to Premier Inn.
      "Fantastic stay at premier"
A lovely warm welcome at reception by Tracey. Very friendly and smiling. Smooth check in. Explained about the restaurant next door. Nothing was too much trouble when I asked where there was to go in Carlisle. Room was very cosy . Consumables in the rooms and more at the reception
"A real hotel in a good location"
Great hotel, good location, theres plenty of parking and a good pub/restaurant next door, amazing staff that were really helpful, a special mention for Tracy who helped me get my Internet up and running 😁
      "Very helpful"
Natasha the receptionist was extremely helpful and polite despite working late throughout the night. The area was clean and tidy.
