"Outstanding"
Outstanding experience, one of the better Premier inns we have stayed at, the room was clean, spacious, and perfectly cool, the bed was fantastic, and the wetroom facilities were brilliant, however the icing on the cake was 2 Outstanding staff members who really made our experience one of the best mini breaks we have had in a long while, Vicky & Milad, were extremely helpful, kind and courteous, and are a massive credit to Premier inn, thank you

"No sleep, then dismissed by Guest Relations"
A very disappointing stay. I got virtually no sleep because of a combination of persistent internal noise, including water leaking throughout the night, and significant external road noise. The soundproofing was completely inadequate, and the room simply did not provide the quiet environment you would reasonably expect when booking a hotel specifically to sleep.
What makes this particularly frustrating is Premier Inn’s “Good Night Sleep Guarantee”. In my experience, it ultimately meant very little. Apparently, you are expected to know in advance that you won’t get a good night’s sleep, research the T&Cs beforehand, and know exactly what you need to do in the middle of the night to avoid having your complaint dismissed afterwards.
The problem with this approach is obvious: you only discover the importance of these T&Cs once something has gone wrong. If you are lying awake at night because of excessive internal and external noise, your priority is trying to deal with the situation and get some sleep — not anticipating which contractual conditions Guest Relations may later rely upon to reject your complaint. In my case, because I had not contacted reception in the required way, this was subsequently used as the reason not to consider my complaint.
What, then, is the point of having a “Good Night Sleep Guarantee” if the conditions required to rely on it are effectively things you only discover after the bad night has already happened?
The experience with Guest Relations made matters worse. Rather than feeling that my complaint was genuinely considered and an attempt made to resolve it, I felt that the focus was on finding reasons why Premier Inn did not have to do anything. The final correspondence also gave the distinct impression that I was being told, in effect, to stop contacting them, despite the fact that my complaint had not actually been resolved to my satisfaction.
A guarantee should provide reassurance, not leave customers feeling that they have been caught out by conditions they didn't know they needed to follow. If Premier Inn genuinely wants to offer a “Good Night Sleep Guarantee”, it needs to work for guests in the real-world circumstances in which they actually need it.
Unfortunately, I got almost no sleep, experienced completely inadequate soundproofing, and was left extremely dissatisfied with the way my complaint was handled afterwards. This was not the experience I expected from Premier Inn.

"Does the job."
Stayed 1 night, close to where we needed to be. Good location, reasonable value for a basic room. Nothing exceptional but did the job for 1 night.
Bed comfortable, room nice and dark and well ventilated, we slept well.
