Hartlepool Marina hotel

Room normal standard we had a meal deal evening two course and breakfast evening meal lovely but breakfast not normal standard eggs were rubber not as much choice as other's we've stayed at

I chose the Premier Inn (Hartlepool Marina) as it is close to HMS Trincomalee, which I had been planning to visit. I had a great view of the marina and Headland, the staff were friendly and helpful, providing useful information on checking in. They even allowed me to leave my suitcase in reception for a little while on the last day, before catching the train home, for which I was grateful. The food was tasty and good value with the meal deal (although prices were quite reasonable anyhow). The location is good for getting into town (5-10 minutes walk), and the train station is nearby too. My room was quite quiet, and comfortable for the main part. The only negative was that I could not turn the heating down, despite instructions explaining how to do this. Whilst I understand there Premier Inn does not have air conditioning, it should at least be easier to turn the temperature down. Otherwise, this was a good stay, and I would probably come here again if staying in the North.

Room clean, shower good, reception staff friendly. The bed is comfortable. Good night sleep. The third night was the best night. I was on the top floor and couldn’t hear any noise. I would recommend staying. The premier inn never lets you down.

Stayed here one night in between golf courses. Very good location with parking. Clean room. Well appointed. Located near bars/ restaurants. Bathroom nice with shower gel. Tea/ coffee in plentiful supply. Can’t comment on food as we’re room only. Portals restaurant nearby is great though. P Inn staff very helpful. Would stay again for sure. Great vFM. Comfy beds. Loads of pillows. Recommended
