Bishop Auckland hotel

Very warm welcome every time we left or came back the member of staff would greet us. We arrived back from a party at midnight and the member of staff was still ver welcoming. On leaving we was asked how was our stay and was told to have a safe journey home

Nice stay overall Comfortable bed and clean room Ideally located around some good restaurants Staff has been welcoming Breakfast was brilliant No issues with car park Would visit again if it happens

A normal nice typical Premier Hotel. However, after a few days returning home I received a 'fine' from the parking company stating that I owed them £100, reduced if I pay within 30 days. They stated that I hadn't entered my registration into the screen which was at the side of the desk. I had, and I have a witness to that effect. The letter stated that if I sent them details of my stay then it would be sorted. Well, I did and I've heard nothing back. This is obviously a scam and if they want to take me to court I will look forward to it.

I had cause to stay at this Premier Inn for approximately 18 months. Throughout my stay, I became aware of the many challenges all the staff face, both positive and negative whether caused by hotel error or outside factors that the staff had no control over. They were all incredibly professional under both challenging and light hearted situations, showing compassion, concern, humour and kindness where required. In particular, I would like to specifically thank Melodie for all the laughs and banter on reception, Eleanor for the late night chats, James and the rest of the team for becoming good friends that feel like family. During my 18 month stay, I never once felt any need to make any complaint about anything. I would have no hesitation in staying there again and no hesitation in recommending this Premier Inn. Thank you

The upgrade room was worth the extra cost, overall our stay was very good and we would choose Premier Inn in future for short stays.
