      "Hotel and location good, restaurant not good"
      Hotel aspect of the stay was very good with clean rooms and very helpful and friendly staff. Location was also excellent for our requirements. However, our one evening meal at the hotel did tarnish the whole stay. We booked an evening dinner and breakfast package. On arrival for the evening meal we were presented with a leaflet listing all the surcharges added to the meals on the menu. In addition we were then informed of basic items not available resulting in significantly reducing our choice. When discussing this with the manager, he concluded by saying we can go elsewhere to eat! Firstly, the fixed price they advertised for the package was incorrect as the surcharges applied were not given to us until we sat down for the meal. Secondly, the lack of basic menu items not available (lettuce, mushrooms to name just two!) is unacceptable as it greatly reduces the meal choice. Finally, having struggled to find our choice of meal to be told we have a choice to go elsewhere to eat was disappointing and certainly did not add to the overall experience. Despite raising this with senior staff who agreed that this was unacceptable, we still await a formal response from Premier Inn
      "Good nights sleep"
      Met our expectations, good bed, quiet location. Only downside was that they were rigid in checking in time, we were 15min early and would charge £15 for early check in so we sat in the bar for a bit until 3pm
      "Sandy’s cooked breakfast was the best"
      Probably one of the best premier inns I have stayed in. Worth the journey for Sandy’s cooked breakfast, a great start to the day. The bed was comfortable, my room clean and quiet. A newly installed walk in shower was good although the water pressure was poor

      Just wanted to thank all the staff who welcomed us for a breakfast. We were 2 families, 4 adults and 6 kids. The staff were all amazing but a special mention to Sandy in the kitchen who cooked all the food perfectly. It's not always easy to maintain nicely cooked food on a hot counter. A great example 👍 Thanks guys Take care
      "Disappointing Stay"
      Check in was very poor as the check in machine was broken and the member of staff on duty was very slow checking us in. We decided to have dinner in the Thyme restaurant, which was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. When we first arrived and placed our order, we were told there was no fresh chicken available. That was unfortunate, but we decided to go ahead and order two fish and chips and two scampi and chips instead. After placing our order, we waited a full 40 minutes with no update. Finally, the waitress came over—not to serve the food, but to inform us that there was no fish available either. At that point, it felt like our time had been completely wasted, so we decided to go and eat elsewhere There was no real explanation as to why it took so long to inform us. The communication and service were incredibly poor. It's unacceptable for a restaurant to take orders for items they can't provide, and even worse to wait nearly an hour before saying anything. Breakfast wasn't much better, broken toaster, cold buffet food, and rubbery scrambled egg that had seen better days. Needless to say, we left very disappointed and won’t be returning. I hope management takes feedback like this seriously and works on improving communication and inventory management.
