Wadebridge hotel

The location was good. Staffing was a issue as no food after a long days travel. Told only booked customers etc . Empty tables around but no chance of any food..😪 No takeaways in the area would take card payments only cash, if this was in the information online would have helped a great deal.

Myself and my family stayed for a couple of nights. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean. Stayed in a family room - a double bed and one single. The food was good. The only downside is the windows don’t open and it was fairly stuffy, BUT we didn’t actually look at the thermostat properly and that we could cool the room down 😂 I faffed about at midnight and found you can indeed change the temperature of the room (We just assumed the thermostat was for heating!!!) The fan was a little noisy, but I’m a pathetic sleeper anyway, and a mouse farting would wake me up!!! For me the bed wasn’t comfortable - but that’s a personal issue and shouldn’t be looked at as a negative. I would definitely stay here again if we came back down this way. It was a pleasant stay.

Like all Premier Inns it is clean, comfortable and conveniently located. I was disappointed though that despite my room being ready the staff grumpily enforced the 3pm check in. The main lights in the room didn’t work (they did fix them same day), my room wasn’t made up after my first night and so I had no coffee in the room, which I thought was a bit sparse. So all ok but too much money for an average experience.

The Premier Inn Wadebridge was of the high standard that I've become accustomed to after staying at Premier Inns at other locations in England. All staff at Wadebridge were very helpful but I would like to single out Bernadette and Tina for their cheerful and friendly attitude to service during my stay at the Inn.

It would get 5 stars but as always premier inn WiFi is absolutely shocking! Shame really because the hotel is excellent. Had to stay at premier inn Bodmin the week before and that’s a right dump!
