"Excellent Weekend Away"
Was down for the football following Carlisle United. Great prices & excellent breakfast! Staff were great! Well located & handy for a trip into Truro city centre via taxi or bus. Wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else again if I visit Truro again!

"Good location, great value, exceptional staff"
Good location, great value hotel, especially in family room with 2 children. Staff all very nice, the young man working in the breakfast room deserves a pay rise. I’ve never seen anyone work so hard and yet remain so calm and pleasant (18th & 19th April).

"Perfect welcome"
We stayed at the Truro Premier Inn & the staff on reception, when we checked in on Sunday 12th April, were Martin & Jen. They gave us such a friendly welcome and showed great understanding of our family's complex needs. They could not do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you Martin & Jen 10/10

"An absolute dump!"
You are greeted on arrival with a rusty fronted building surrounded by weeds.
We got to the reception where 3 members of staff were so busy grumbling about when they finish their shift, they could even offer a “hello”,so we were left with no alternative but to use the grimy self check in screen. Which incidentally had no door keycards available, so we sadly had to interrupt their conversation to ask for assistance, which didn’t go down well.
When we opened the door to our family room the smell was the first thing we noticed. It was like wet dogs. But that was nothing compared to the smell of the bathroom. The smell from the mouldy shower curtain was overpowering. Which in some ways was lucky as the sink drain wasn’t too fresh either! The paint was peeling off the ceiling and the floor was squishy underfoot - clearly where countless other guests had soaked the floor whilst showering. The toilet seat was loose and there was mould in the grout and someone else’s hairs in the bath and on the toilet.
Back into the bedroom we found the bin hadn’t been emptied and the beds weren’t made properly. Trim around the edges of the furniture was hanging off in long sharp spikes and there was a large gash in the wall and plaster hanging off, where staff had obviously had to move furniture to make it into a family room.
So, time to relax and read a book - but alas it’s so dingy, you need to bring your own torch.
Breakfast - we were made to feel very unwelcome. The lady was clearly annoyed we hadn’t pre-booked (but how could we when nobody at check-in spoke to us). And then struggled to find us a table when there were clearly vast swathes of tables empty.
Restocking of the buffet was unhygienic with bread being handled by people that smelled like they hadn’t had a wash in some time. The restaurant itself was dirty. Electrical fittings hanging off the wall, flickering lights, ripped upholstery and it blinds hanging haphazardly.
It’s clear that this place is an absolute dump. The staff are grumpy and unhappy and nobody has pride in this place.
The only positive is there was plenty of hot water for a shower.
Don’t stay here. Go across the road to the campsite instead.

"Lovely cheerful breakfast staff did me a poached egg"
Large site on a roundabout between Truro and Falmouth. Room very clean. Ask for extra bath towels if two of you, they only ever give one!!
