"Worst premier inn experience ever"
Disappointed as no lift and struggled with cases as we were there for 5 days and were not aware. Room was not made up or clean towels supplied until we asked and then still did not happen. Bathroom was ok but bedroom needed attention, stains all over the walls very tired and run down. The restaurant in the pub was shocking not enough staff, wine being served in brandy glasses as staff too busy messing around to wash glasses, tables took over an hour to be cleared. Whole experience was shocking which was a shame because we love a premier inn but this was the worst we have ever stayed in.

"poor"
The cooked breakfast was cold, neither of the coffee machine worked, we had to find our own cups, the breakfast is now overpriced, the sink tap types do not provide enough water, the heater in bedroom very noisy,

"Customer experience good but could be improved"
My expectations were exceeded with a clean, well prepared and comfortable room and friendly welcome.
The stay deserved a 5* review apart from customer service prior to my visit.
I would suggest that Premier Inns OFFER A LOCAL PHONE NUMBER TO MAKE CONTACT AVAILABLE TO GUESTS. THE 0300 number kept looping me around with no possibility to speak to someone about my limited mobility needs. I needed some reassurance before check in and was unable to receive it. This aspect of customer service is inadequate and therefore unacceptable, it doesn’t do justice to the otherwise good customer experience from Premier Inns.
The receptionist made a suitable room available on check in and offered me their local direct phone number for future visits. A local contact number should be made available to everyone.
It will be interesting to see whether a response to my suggestion or any changes are forthcoming.

"Amazing Staff"
Jill and Kieran who were on reception on the 12th April 2026 made our check in nice and easy after seeing how stressed we were after a bad flight. They also advised the pub next door was closing soon if we wanted to grab some food and a pint and we could put our luggage behind reception and they’d keep an eye on it.
The rooms are always clean and tidy.
