"Great Location"
Great location for the Eden Project, drove into St Austell for bars & restaurants as The Carglaze had sold out of a lot menu options on Friday night. Breakfast selection was good and tasty. Rooms where great, very comfy beds and fluffy towels, tea & coffee in the room and parking right outside.

"Warning: Awful Premier Inn ! Maybe the worst"
Where do I start?
We arrived as the third leg of a road trip from home
We had already gone to Bristol PI which was great
This PI was lacklustre throughout.
The lighting was dreary
The lights in the room were so dull that we avoided the hotel as much as possible as it was depressing
One side of the mirror lighting in the main room was not working
The bathroom light went out and along with the already faulty mirror light I went to reception and asked if they could it out. They said they would get an electrician around. I asked about the fan that only stayed on for a maximum of 2 minutes and they said they would mention it
The bathroom light was fixed witha lovely bright light, the brightest in the whole room! The mirror light was replaced with a different colour to the opposite light so they didn’t match- shoddy workmanship
WARNING:
The flooring in all the corridors going to our room and above our rooms creaked everytime, whenever, anyone walked on them- it was extremely noisy. Whenever anyone walked past the room s door, up and down the stairs or in the room above us, it was noisy
It was pointless reporting this to reception as they said they could not change our room when I mention that the bathroom had stopped working!
We had to go out after the first night and purchase earplugs- ridiculous
The WiFi was at a speed of 1.6 Mbps
When I mentioned this to reception they gave me a free code for ‘premium WiFi ‘ but this speed was 0 Mbps !
We had one soft pillow out of four lumpy pillows
Their recycling system is, to ask all guests to put all recyclables next to the bin not in it. So you end up with a load of unsightly rubbish next to the bin!
The toilet flush was too difficult to press for my partner due to it being faulty so I had to flush it!
The shower gel was way too high for the user to reach so I had to take the lid off too remove it from the holder
This is indeed a horrible hotel
Staff were friendly enough and I understand that there is only so much that they can do, so, when we were told that the room could not be changed, it seemed a waste of time complaining about everything as generally I feel it is taken with a pinch of salt, a bit like this review. They will never respond to it

My sister adjusted her booking by one day because she had to attend a funeral. She did this on the main Premier Inn website. When she arrived the next day at the hotel, they had cancelled her booking completely. She was told that because she hadn't rung the hotel directly (the website tells you to manage your booking online!!) that they had cancelled all eight nights. We had to scramble around and find another place to stay at the last minute!

"Excellent comfortable two night stay"
Premier Inn St Austell was excellent. Comfy clean room and friendly staff. Some covered parking but also plenty of open parking. Breakfast was also superb, good range for full and continental breakfast. Good value for money. Bathroom supplies were also good quality and much appreciated by my wife and I.

"Would not return and ot worth the money."
Our room needed a deap clean. It smelled of sweaty bodies and was quite repulsive. The staff did change our room for the second night. Suggest people do not eat in the adjoining pub, food is awful. Go to the pizza restaurant round the corner it's brilliant.
