"Rooms like saunas. Terrible experience."
Awful rooms like ovens. Impossible to sleep. Over 30 degrees inside the room. Had to check out at 5am as after no sleep as so uncomfortable. All reception staff could do was agree that it is awful for guests inside these rooms. Ruined our trip as too exhausted to enjoy our planned time in Cornwall.

"Stay somewhere else"
Stayed for a night during Eden sessions.
Check in was swift and the lady was pleasant on reception. We booked the bus to the Eden project for the sessions gig but the directions on where to pick it up from the hotel staff were a bit ropey, luckily we spotted some other guests who had been to a gig before so didnt miss it. Phew!
Hotel very dated, the corridor smelt a bit fusty not sure what that was!
Rooms were roasting. It was hot outside but not as hot as it had been on previous weeks. The room was over 30C. As previous guests have said no aircon and the windows are tiny and can’t be opened very much. We had a fan in the room but it didn’t do any good, it was probably cooler outside than it was inside.
We didn’t asked for another room or fan as we only stayed the one night and didn’t get back to the hotel til nearly midnight but to be honest i think all the rooms are the same.
Very disappointed considering the amount of money we paid and didn’t sleep. Also no fridge in the room.
Stay somewhere else that has aircon and that isn’t so dated.
Sufficed to say we won’t be staying here ever again!

"Hot Hot Hot."
Room hot no air con, Asked this morning for an extra fan and room to be serviced. Fan arrived but room was untouched. Was given excuses that we never told reception even though we did as fan arrived and left service room sign on door. Heating thermostat not working was hoping we could run it a low temperature. Looks like completely turned off so can’t be used as, no power to unit! Obviously profits over customers comfort. Terrible trying to sleep

"Nothing Premier about this Inn"
Truly awful. Rooms are hot and intensely uncomfortable during these hot summers. Rooms are supplied with a fan that generates sound and fury but signifies nothing and the rooms are dirty. Hairs of previous guests left in the bathroom - which itself would look at home in a urban explorer video - paint peeling off and a mirror seemingly recovered from a shipwreck off the coast. TV hanging off the wall and filth in the lower reaches of the room with loose electrical fixtures and broken, dirty light fixtures. The outdoor visage is equally dirty and communal areas are so damaged they look like a a Tesco trolley collection diversion was routed through the hotel. The staff seem okay but my interactions were limited. Linens seemed clean enough, thank goodness. Premier Inn properties are supposed to achieve a familiar standard no matter where you go - this hotel is an appalling failure in this regard, despite it living up to the standard price. Probably the worst Premier Inn in the UK - Avoid.
