"Great location"

Just come back from staying 6 nights here, location is excellent close to train and bus stations, just a short walk into town. Room was as expected with premier inn, clean and comfy bed, breakfast was excellent, my wife has dietary requirements, Elaine and vicky were great making sure her food was sorted, even though they were rushed off there feet doing reception and breakfast, many thanks ladies.

"Poor room maintenance although good location"

The hotel is conevnient for Penzance centre. But when we arrived there was no tea or coffee in the room and the carpet had obviously not been vacuumed. Also the room definitely needs maintenance. There were a lot of scuff marks on the walls and paintwork and worst of all, there was black mould on the bathroom ceiling. Probably the worst Premier Inn room we have had. Finally, why do Premier Inn rooms have no drawer space for unpacking?

"Tired- looking"

I got the impression that Premier Inn are cutting corners as the bedroom looked tired. The sheet had to be changed as it was stained and the mattres was on its last legs. The bedroom chair was stained but the bathroom was clean. The catering was very mediocre and dinner resembled a ready meal. Luckily there was a nice pub near the hotel. The breakfast was ok but the coffee was more like hot milk. The staff were lovely but it was obvious there weren't enough of them. I have always trusted Premier Inn but unfortunately I would think twice about staying there now.

"Usual high Premier Inn standards"

Great location next to the train station in Penzance. We stayed the night before and the night after a trip to the Scilly Isles. The rooms were as expected from Premier Inn - clean, comfortable and quiet with everything we needed. We didn’t eat there as we found a fab restaurant down the road ( Cork and Fork) but the menu looked good.

"Well worth a visit!"

So nine of us came off the GWR sleeper service straight into the Premier Inn. Check-in was a bit of a nightmare as their card reader was broken and the automated check-in machine required me to do 5 separate check-ins, but thanks to the perseverance of the desk clerk we got there in the end. This same guy was super helpful sorting out extra bedding and getting extra key-cards cut so all 9 of us had our own key. The rooms were great, the beds comfortable and breakfast was amazing. Highly recommended!
