"One night stay in August"

Stayed here one night in August . Very noisy right in the middle of town . Saturday night was very busy with people leaving pubs . Room was comfortable and clean . Expensive for time of year .

Still sitting here, for more than 30 minutes understaffed watching the existing staff wait on their buddies and people who came in after me. All I wanted was a beer but having fun seems more important than the job.

"Not up to the usual Premier Inn standards as experienced with stays throughout the country over several years."

Greta location. Staff very friendly & helpful, although run off their feet. You get what you pay for. Great breakfast options, particularly for Gluten free. House keeping need to double check their work... Items that I presume belonged to previous guests found in room. Not enough towels. One for two people? Travel cot missing from family room as specifically requested.

"Avoid this hotel."

Avoid this hotel. From start to finish, I did not have a good experience at this hotel. No one was available to check me in and I was among many guests who were waiting. The furniture in the hotel and in the room was stained and sticky. The bed was only 3 inches off the floor and very uncomfortable. No one was available to check me out. I couldn't wait to get out of this hotel.

"Disappointing first impression."

Came in this morning to make an enquiry. Rang for attention and waited, rang again after a few minutes, looked down towards the restaurant. There was a table of uniformed staff, none acknowledged me. Rang again, waited, now waiting for 10 minutes. Looked towards table again and finally a staff member stood up to come towards me: no welcome and no apology. I am very disappointed in this lack of customer care. Not one of those staff at the table prompted the receptionist at the table that a customer was at the desk. This speaks volumes about your employees care and commitment to the values Whitbread Group pertain to promote.
