Camborne hotel

Comfortable rooms, easy check in and out, good availability of staff. Perfect location to explore the area. Having stayed at this Premier Inn before, the restaurant and food are very good. The hotel is just up the road from a shop, pub and a couple of miles from other food and shops and the local branch line station. We always choose this hotel if it is available as it is also air-conditioned.

I was quite disappointed with this hotel. The room felt very dated, with old carpets and tired furnishings that made the whole place look and feel worn out. The traffic noise was noticeable, making it difficult to relax or get a good night’s sleep. The restaurant looked uninviting, so our expectations weren’t high, and unfortunately the breakfast was very poor. The quality and selection were disappointing and certainly not what I expected from a Premier Inn. Overall, the hotel feels in need of a major refurbishment. There are much better options in the area, and I wouldn’t choose to stay here again or recommend it.

I woud just like to thank a staff member at Camborne Premier for her help during an emergency situation regarding my car which broke, down, Kelly, was so helpful allowing me to park my car in the car park giving me time to sort another car to catch a flight, the staff member was so kind and I couldn't have caught my flight without her help.

Premier Inns are Premier Inns, so not much to review there, however I've got to tell you about Hayden the Manager. He happened to be on the desk when we arrived late on a Friday night; what a greeting!! you would have thought we were old friends visiting. He was also very helpful and informative, a shining example of how it should be done! Whitbread should reward him and hold him up to the rest of the company as an example. Well done Hayden.

We had dinner in the Trevithick Inn, which is the restaurant associated with the Premier Inn. The front of house was dirty, with walls and skirting boards clearly not having been cleaned for many months. It made me wonder how clean the kitchen was, and I could not get out of the restaurant quick enough. We have stayed at the Cambourne Premier Inn many times before, but based on how dirty the restaurant was, we shall stay elsewhere in the future.
