Fabulous staff, facilities and location. Everything was what you expect from a Premier Inn hotel. Cosy and quiet room. Very clean hotel. Food was as expected with no complaints. Great value for money.

Start to finish my stay was lovely. Staff were very helpful and informative, check in was easy, room was a lovely size, room was on the warmer side due to recent weather conditions, small window openings and no air con (this building really needs it).
Atmosphere was lovely both receptionists and attached restaurant staff were lovely. Food was ok, but I did get told that due to changes there was a things that weren’t available.
Location is great whether you’re there for 1 night or multiple nights, lots of things to do in the town.
Cleanliness was great, only problem was the chair in the room is a little dated definitely needs replacing.
Great value for money, especially the meal deal option!

"Great location… but poor room."
I recently stayed here to attend a funeral at the crematorium which is nearby. The location was ideal. On arrival we put the details in for the car park which was easy and given the key for the room. The ladies on reception were friendly. The room was a good size, beds were comfortable however the odour in the room was awful, it smelt damp. The extractor fan in the bathroom was ridiculously loud but we managed to switch this off. The sink plug stuck in the down position so we had to brush our teeth and wash our hands over the bath. The chair by the desk was stained, and the fan provided kicked out thick dust. I returned to the reception and was offered an alternative room upstairs which was described as extremely hot as it was above the kitchen. So the options were a room that smelt bad or one which was uncomfortably hot. The staff offered a complimentary breakfast which was a nice gesture however the breakfast was poor. I paid £145 for this room and I do not feel that the price reflected the expected standard. (I took a video of the extractor and sink but can only add still photos unfortunately).
