"Stinky room in a run-down hotel"
Run-down room, very stinky and old decor with occasional mould. I would not stay here again. The staff were helpful and friendly, but I cannot say anything good about the room.

I recently stayed at a Premier Inn hotel and had a really pleasant experience overall. From the moment I arrived, the check-in process was quick and straightforward, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, which made a great first impression.
The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well laid out. The bed lived up to its reputation—honestly one of the best hotel beds I’ve slept in, giving me a really good night’s rest. The room had everything I needed, including a decent-sized TV, tea and coffee facilities, and a clean, modern bathroom with a powerful shower.
One thing I particularly appreciated was how quiet the hotel was at night. Even though it seemed quite busy, there was very little noise, which made it easy to relax and unwind.
Breakfast was also a highlight, with a good range of options from cooked items to cereals, fruit, and pastries. Everything was fresh and regularly topped up, and again, the staff were attentive without being overbearing.
If I had to point out a downside, it would be that the décor felt a little basic and not particularly luxurious—but for the price, it offers excellent value for money.
Overall, I’d definitely stay at Premier Inn again. It’s reliable, comfortable, and does exactly what you need it to do without any fuss.

Good location, friendly staff, clean warm room. Disappointed only 1 ev charging point which was in use so couldn’t charge car during stay.

Been a good stay. Yes the annexe room could do with some revamping esp the curtains as there is holes in them but it’s not a major issue. Considering being on the motor way you don’t hear the vehicles!
The ladies on reception were lovely whilst checking in and an extra bonus for our daughters was getting an Easter themed marshmallows and mini chocolate eggs which made our girls very excited!

The staff were very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the area was pleasant. I’d happily recommend this hotel and would stay again.

For dance music fans, we're just up the road from August bank holiday highlight Creamfields. If you're into the races Aintree, Haydock and Chester are all close by. Or for those who like to walk on the wild side, Chester Zoo is only a short drive. After a busy day, return and recharge in our tasty restaurant and big, comfy beds.
