Nice hotel great location for us. Room was nice and cosy only downside took ages to get hot running water and was only warm

Having stayed here in the past and been totally satisfied, on this occasion it has been a totally different story .
I had booked a 2 night stay and after the first night we returned to the room to find it hadn't been serviced, tea& coffee not replenished, no clean towels, bin not emptied and after going down to speak to reception ,apparently you have to ask for this service.
On returning to the bar area on Saturday evening at just after 10pm ,the bar was closed. On Sunday evening, returning just after 9pm , again the bar was closed. The staff members comment was 'I don't make the rules ' .
I have never been to a hotel where I've had to ask for the room to be serviced or the bar to close to residents at 9pm . I'm not a picky person , I don't expect a daily deep clean, just fresh towels and bins emptied.
The hotel is shabby in many areas and after this experience I will not return.

Great customer service , one of the best experiences at a premier inn Owen was brilliant and made it so easy to check in , a credit to your business ! We travel to a lot of premier inns but this has been one of the best experiences

Bathroom stunk of stale urine
Also grout in shower mouldy
Shower rubbish
Flooring creaked every time you walked on it
Corridors grubby whole place in need or a complete renovation
Not to mention I accidentally left a brand new iPhone charger it was definitely there However staff claimed it wasn’t there it doesn’t just vanish they could not be bothered helping their time of voice implied I can’t have left it however I certainly did

So bathroom had a very strong smell of stale urine , terrible smell
Shower poor , mould in the ground , and not very good at all
Also the floor was so creaky every time you walked on it sounded very noisey
I mistakenly left a brand new iPhone charger with cable in the room rang up a couple of hours later when I realised that was the only place I had it , the person answering phone not very helpful I asked if the cleaner could be asked about it as not handed in at all I didn’t have it anywhere else it was certainly left plugged in they were not bothered at all
Won’t be staying there again
Worst premier inn ever in desperate need of a refurb
