"Great staff, scruffy hotel"
The Crewe Central Premier Inn is located on a trading estate, only a short (5 mins) walk from Crewe railway station. Its rooms and decor are typical for a Premier Inn, though the overall appearance is a bit shabby, with grubby carpets and stained paintwork. However, the staff are polite, friendly and helpful, including those on reception, in the bar and serving breakfast.
Breakfast is cooked to order, rather than the ‘help yourself’ buffet in many other Premier Inns. Our order was taken quickly and the food arrived promptly. The quality was mixed - the bacon and sausage were fine, but shared the plate with some soggy, tasteless mushrooms and an oddly rubbery black pudding.
All-in-all, our stay was OK, though a two night stay in Crewe really shouldn’t cost over £200. The hotel just needs a complete refurbishment - as does the rest of Crewe!

Not a beauty spot, but clean, quiet, good air conditioning and helpful staff- made stay pleasant, and the site was very convenient for railway station and buses. We ate breakfast in each day and all as expected- rapid service and all as expected

Lots of banging noises from other rooms would not recommend a family and friends lucky we didn’t take the kids lots of stains on bed as well

Place was untidy, bedsheets were yellow, loud noises at night time with people arguing on the street, there was some hair in the bath and overall was not a nice experience
