Chester Central (South East) hotel

Nice and quiet location despite having plenty around it. Room was quite modern though the carpet looked like an optical illusion. The mattress felt much firmer than usual for a premier inn which led to an uncomfortable nights sleep, the temperature also seemed to fluctuate through the night so it was difficult to stay regulated. Restaurant on site (the social) was very busy as it is very small. Service was very slow, booked for an evening meal at 8pm, food ordered by 8.05pm but not served till almost 8.40pm - the order was 2 pizzas and a gammon so nothing that you'd expect a wait for. Breakfast in the morning was served as a buffet which was great. Breakfast waitress was very friendly. Coffee machine was not working but could use the hot water machine and instant coffee, some grumbles on not being able to have a fancier coffee though. Booked a good few months in advance so price was reasonable.

I stayed here recently and I couldn’t fault it. Although the heating in our room stopped working, however Phillip resolved the issue promptly by providing us with another room where the heating was working so much better. Could not fault his service will be choosing this hotel to stay again next time I’m in Chester.

Our room was clean and tidy. The bed was comfy which we always find with premier inn, plenty of spare bedding. The shower pressure was really good, plenty of hot water, clean and fresh towels. Our room had a small round table and a chaise lounge, which came in handy. Plenty of sockets. We were placed on the ground floor, not too much banging from the above room but I could hear someone snoring in the room adjoining ours. We had free breakfasts for our 3 mornings we were there. The breakfast was well cooked you could eat as much as you want, friendly staff too. We went to Chester zoo which was only a six minute drive and walking took about 40 minutes into Chester city centre.

Excellent staff and perfect situation for access to North Wales and Chester also the Midlands and all round location for easy access to many areas of England

We stayed here before a trip to Chester Zoo which is 10 mins away. Comfortable spacious rooms. Shower a bit tricky to work out but fine. Beds comfy and the kids had a single bed and travel cot which they slept well in. Breakfast was hot buffet option but a little busy in the restaurant area. All in all a good day.
