Chester Central (South East) hotel

I have stayed at this Premier Inn many times but not for a few years. I was delighted with the welcome from Paul. I was amazed at the transformation of this Premier Inn. The room has been updated and refurnished to a very high standard. It has a new Restaurant which I was not aware of (I was informed online but declined to believe this as I knew from previous stays that the restaurant opposite had closed!) I booked for one breakfast only on my last morning, which was superb. I would have had a breakfast every day if I'd known how good it was..! I was extremely impressed with this Premier Inn and will not hesitate to book again.

I stayed for just one night. It was the usual high standards of cleanliness and comfort, and the staff were courteous and pleasant. I had a continental breakfast the following morning in the in-house breakfast room. There’s a bus stop outside served by the number 5 bus which runs every 25 minutes right into the City Centre. I’d happily stay there again.

Fabulous location close to all the attractions including Chester Zoo. The hotel was immaculately clean and very modern. The food in the restaurant was lovely. The rooms are spacious, well decorated and super comfortable! Great parking facilities and in room facilities.

Poor customer service terrible restaurant if you can call it that more like a second rate cafe definitely not relaxing no bar just a fridge with bottles and very expensive

Nice and quiet location despite having plenty around it. Room was quite modern though the carpet looked like an optical illusion. The mattress felt much firmer than usual for a premier inn which led to an uncomfortable nights sleep, the temperature also seemed to fluctuate through the night so it was difficult to stay regulated. Restaurant on site (the social) was very busy as it is very small. Service was very slow, booked for an evening meal at 8pm, food ordered by 8.05pm but not served till almost 8.40pm - the order was 2 pizzas and a gammon so nothing that you'd expect a wait for. Breakfast in the morning was served as a buffet which was great. Breakfast waitress was very friendly. Coffee machine was not working but could use the hot water machine and instant coffee, some grumbles on not being able to have a fancier coffee though. Booked a good few months in advance so price was reasonable.
