"A pleasant stay"
The rooms were spacious and pleasantly decorated, the bed was really comfortable and the fridge was really useful. The hotel is pretty quiet given it's location close to a fairly busy road. It's well placed to visit the town centre, the Zoo and other local attractions. The hotel doesn't have a lift, so you need to get your luggage upstairs yourself. The breakfast was reasonable although the breakfast room is rather snug and not the best layout. There is plenty of parking and the hotel is easy to reach. Overall it was a pleasant place to stay and I would return on another visit.

"Clean and close to a park and ride."
Very clean rooms and helpful staff. Food was very tasty. 10 mins walk to the park and ride. Evening meals can be a little slow in being served.

"To be relied upon"
Friendly restful clean and reliable, that’s why we come back. Comfortable quiet and relaxing room. And a good location close enough to Chester

"Good to sleep, crap at everything else"
After visiting a holiday park in Scotland with nothing around and no phone/internet connection I was hopeful to get back to normal as this premier inn was close to the city in Chester. We paid for breakfast and the ultimate plus WiFi but I WHISH I HAD STAYED IN SCOTLAND! Room was adequate but the WiFi plus didn’t work, spoke to the tech support (given on the email upon booking) was told to turn the device I was using on and off again (like I wouldn’t have tried that a million times before calling!) not too worry, it’s was only £10 but it did mean I had to hammer my data allowance on my phone as had to connect my fire stick to it to keep my son happy. We booked into the restaurant as soon as we got there as it was a long journey. After viewing the menu for 10 mins we were given a list of things they didn’t have, however we did manage to choose something each of what they did have. I paid £15 for some sort of curry to watch in the kitchen as it was cooked in a bag in the microwave! It was absolutely disgusting, I’m more aggrieved to have paid £15 for a curry I could have paid £2 for in Iceland! Breakfast was also a big let down. You have to choose a time slot when you arrive and we overheard some family’s not being able to eat breakfast until after 10:30! This should be stated or have the option to choose the time
When booking, however, id say don’t even bother booking it. Everything looked like it was sitting in water, I didn’t even bother eating it. To me there was no point in offering a restaurant if it’s all going to come out of a microwave but charge you the same prices as a high street restaurant.

"Better than expected."
One of the best Premier inn standard rooms we have experienced, and we have been to many. New design works well, Aircon was so welcome in 35 degrees heat.Had heard horror stories about the new breakfast arrangements, and yes the dining room is cramped in comparison to others, but not as bad as some have mentioned. Food was up to usual high standard, staff overworked and very busy, but all had a pleasant smile, which works wonders.
All in all a surprisingly good stay.
