"Needs air conditioning"
Good sleep but the room could go with a paint especially the bathroom and the hotel needs air conditioning asap….we were visiting the zoo so decided to stay the night this hotel was not cheap infact a bit overpriced for a hotel with no air conditioning when the weather was 31 degrees the staff left a fan but it was still melting in the room.
The breakfast was decent the staff were really nice and helpful

"Not the best"
Stayed in many Premier Inn’s throughout the country.
The staff were very friendly. The hotel offered clean rooms, however no sleep due to the level of heat in the room and no facilities to cool it down.
In addition, extremely loud creaking floors in the corridor which kept you awake all night with other guests coming in until 3am
I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again.

All the usual praises for everything Prem - staff, beds, room etc 👍 Given the hot weather, the fan provided was a lifesaver! As advised on a sign near the counter , we requested a sheet instead of a duvet … Will definitely do that again 😂
The free parking was plentiful, and the location was perfect - easy walk into Chester.
I would, however, recommend the Oak Tree pub just down the road, over The Mill pub next door 🤦♀️

We mostly stay in a Premier Inn and find them really good but found this one a disappointment.On arrival we checked in and noticed the stairway to our room was grubby with worn out banasters. Once we got to our room we thought the room was nice and clean,
There was a desk fan to use, as there was no air conditioning but we noticed it was thick with dust, especially underneath. When we took the duvet off the bed we noticed a few dirty marks on the sheet, we complained to reception, who said she be up to change the bed. After we got back from the pub next door, the sheet still hadn't been changed. We didn't go back to reception to complain again as the lady seem to be the only one working there, instead we turned the sheet over, only to notice it was ripped. I can't understand how housekeeping never noticed the stains on the sheet, unless they never bothered to change the bed. This is the first time I have ever complained about a Premier Inn I have no intention of staying here again. The only good thing was the excellent food in the pub next door.
