"Don't go to the first floor if it's hot"
Nice first floor room clean and tidy but extremely hot and uncomfortable to sleep in the heat , fans provided but only moved hot air around, windows only opened a crack

"No air con, heat unbearable"
Car park approach is full of pot holes. This hotel has no air conditioning and during the heat wave the room was so uncomfortable, the fans provided were no use at all. There was no additional complementary water provided.
The water pressure in the shower and toilet was woeful. £147 for 3 hours of sleep. Awful.

"Welcome to Hell!"
Before I start the review, I will say the heat wave was not helping matters, that being said, it only exaggerated problems, not caused them....
We turned up for our pre-booked early check-in, waited over 30 minutes to start the check-in process to be asked if we would "wait a bit" as the cleaners hadn't started until 10, to say we weren't convinced about how long 'a bit' was going to be was an undertstatement... So after saying we'd want the charge for early check-in removed, suddenly a room was located (the miracle of it). We were warned about how the window was open, curtains closed, fan was turned on, so clearly no A/C which given the price was a joke. We dropped our things off and headed off to the festival as planned.
On returning later that evening, where the outside temperature had dropped significantly and there was a pleasant reasonable breeze, we walked into an oven, the second we enetered the hotel, with each phase getting hotter finishing in the room. This wasn't a complete shock, and we hoped that as the night went on, the room would cool down as the window was open and the fan blowing, it made no difference. Between that and the mattress in dire need of replacement, sleep was just a dream...
The biggest shock was the temperature of the bathroom in the morning, we are pretty sure the towel radiator had been on given how warm the towel that had been on it was. Clearly not helping things.
If you have breakfast there, go for the continental, the shortage of staff and it not being a buffet for the full breakfast was a disaster to say the least.
In summary very hot, with a shortage of staff who were clearly tired and not incentivised to do more than the minimum, avoid if you can!

"Dreadfull"
We booked 2 nights here as at a family wedding in St Neots. We left the next morning as we spent all night taking cold showers due to Lack of AIR CON. One guest told we she slept in the car!! Dreadful hotel. They offered us loads of extra tea and coffee for the room, yeah just what you want when it’s 33 degrees. Hence to say we checked out and moved to the Holiday Inn which is a fantastic Hotel all fully air conditioned and the staff were fantastic fitting us in at the last minute. My honest advise is do not stay at this Hotel in the summer. Premier Inn need to wake up and bring these type of location hotels into the 21st centurry

"Need to install Air con ASAP"
location was spot on as my course was around the corner.
The room was extremely hot and uncomfortable, unable to open windows further to allow cool air to enter. They provided to fans which simply pushed warm air around the room , the corridor was cooler.
The lifts did not work.
The restaurant had no steaks , no beef burger meals , so had steak and ale pie.
Chips were good but the peas were overdone and one piece of broccoli.
Went for breakfast and told they have no eggs ? Common sense would be be to visit lidl or Aldi which is about 2 mins drive across the roundabout and buy eggs.
Strongly suggest dont stay in hotel with no AC in summer as you will suffer with the added lack of meals it was disappointing.
