Peterborough (Hampton) hotel

What a great recovery, after a booking date complication you managed to secure us 2 rooms at short notice and accommodate our late check in. We had a great nights sleep in simple but very clean and comfortable rooms with a bath to soothe our aching limbs from a family garden makeover. Thanks to Brad, we will be booking again and for the foreseeable future. To top off this already excellent service we went down to breakfast. We were greeted by Michelle who had a beaming smile and made us feel very much at home from the off. She promptly advised she was able to take an order for porridge or poached eggs and guided us through the whole selection of breakfast options. Poached eggs ordered we found a great table and proceeded to enjoy our unlimited breakfasts. The food was amazing and with so many options to choose from we made our selections. Complimented by the best coffee and tea we rested for a short while before planning our next adventure. Spending the morning at the park before our 3 year olds grandson’s birthday party in the afternoon. Feeling like we had missed an opportunity to feed the ducks with him we wondered if we would be able to take a couple of crusts from the toast section to facilitate the ‘icing’ on the cake. Michelle listened to us laughing about the days antics from yesterday and when we told her what we had hoped to do today she was more than happy to find a couple of crusts to take for the ducks. Needless to say we had a great time at the park and little Toby fed two little ducks (and a cheeky crow) for quite a while. Magic moments we will never forget. Thank you Michelle for helping us out. you Rock ! We all had a great weekend thanks to your wonderful staff for playing your part. Five star service all round.

So an honest review. Stayed here on October the 10th with my wife. We were given a room with an ajoining door. No need for us as we had no other party. The ajoining door had a couple next door that woke us in the early hours. This was Brought up the next morning with hotel staff along with the fact that the plug of our bath was absolutely full of hair and grime and I dont know what else. Im not exaggerating when I say the shower water did not drain away. Because we were woken early hours we did not complain immediately as per the Premier Inn rules for having a good night's sleep. We were awake by that point. Why would I move rooms at 5.30am on a Sunday morning? No one would. Your not going back to sleep. The staff at the hotel were being run to exhaustion because of the recent cuts by Premier Inn to save them money but the restaurant staff I will say we're remarkably up beat given they were massively under gunned. Not on at all and further cuts are in line apparently. I have since had to fight tooth and nail to request a refund from them but keep getting fobbed off that I did not give hotel staff time to address the issues, again it was early hours. Who is moving rooms once your I awake? Premier Inn it seems are in massive decline and I highly doubt that things are going to improve since the major changes that have taken place. Still haven't had a refund. Just excuses. I sincerely wish the staff at Premier Inn the best of luck but I Will never book a Premier inn again.

Had an excellent experience dinning with my partner Donna jay and Sarah mad it an enjoyable experience not to mention it made our anniversary so special and experience we will definitely remember

Peterborough Hampton Michelle was fantastic in restruant 10 out of 10 for the Food and service manners very accommodating and friendly

We were staying at the Premier Inn next door and went in for an evening meal. It was a very good meal with good service from our server Will. There's a fairly extensive menu so plenty choose from. The food was delivered fairly quickly and was good value.
