Peterborough (Ferry Meadows) hotel

The location is easy to find and parking is available at the premises. We received a warm welcome from reception which during our stay was always available and very helpful. Even though it was a hot day and the hotel doesn't have aircondition they provided a fantastic vent in the room. One of the best I have ever seen. Even consider to get one myself. We had dinner at the adjoining Beefeater restaurant and the food was delicious and the staff very accommodating. The hotel as well as the restaurant are good value for money. It was very quiet in the hotel and the staff made sure that nobody was out of line with the noise level. Its nice to see that you still got staff which is happy to look out for their customers needs. Thank you.

Location is good, outside the inn looks tired. The staff at reception are friendly. The room looked like it had been patched up. The table had been covered in a plastic wrap which was bubbling up. The booking was for a twin room for two days, but only one face towel, two tea bags and no bath mat. If you take a booking for two, cater for two, not expect customer to run to reception every time. The continental breakfast at the Beefeater is not continental, dry/stale pastry, bread, weak yogurt, tinned fruit and cereal. Upgraded to a cooked breakfast which was OK.

The restaurant was dirty all the cups for coffee and tea needed a good clean the unlimited breakfast was a joke the food was cold,we had to send some back then that arrived when we had finished eating the portions are not like your photos advertised the manager was really nit interested but the rooms in the hotel were lovely

The smell of sewage / stagnant water emanating from the sink and shower in room 205 was disgusting. I only used the place to sleep so I advised of the smell in the morning. On contacting customer services, I was hit instantly with there T & Cs about refunds, even though at no point did I ask for one. Absolutely disgusting customer service.

The facility is aged which just shows it as a poor facility . If it had been modernised the fee could have been acceptable however arriving there and seeing the place , you stay there feeling utterly ripped off. This is the worst Premier Inn I’ve ever stayed at . They should either sell it and let another group improve it or just close it down .
